I'm posting this because the satoshi website has no contact information on it. Whether this serves as a warning to future players, or a way to notify the operator of the site remains to be seen.

I've had a problem with satoshi dice. I sent my bitcoins in (exactly 3.881) and didn't get any transaction back. I'm using the standard bitcoin client, I know it supports satoshi dice, I've used it in the past successfully.

Unfortunately, thanks to the new website, I only caught a glimpse of my transaction before it dissapeared. It said I won, and before I lost it I was able to click the pay transaction id:

http://blockchain.info/search?search=a1904b56d836db2f494d3a882da884bd9b47691dbd31a50fa65fff0656172c3f

Which seems not to exist. Whats the deal with that?

EDIT: It seems either the blockchain has progressed to this point, or something weird is going on. That transaction now shows 4.155 btc (the correct return amount for my bet) being sent to 16PoezzgLa38nvQdFTjnLA8dxEdkz4oBaC, which is not my address. Does anyone know what in the hell is going on here? It's not really a huge deal but it would be nice to have my $40 back.

The original transaction was sent in on 10/19/2012 21:29, Pacific time.

Being fairly new to bitcoin, I can only offer this advice--
I've placed some bets with them before (I can't understand how I can place a bet for .01 and only get .045 or so back, but another topic maybe?) and usually I get my winnings back instantly...the first time, the time stamp for the winnings was 10 seconds before I placed the bet!
Last night, I didn't get my winnings back for about 4-5 hours. I didn't understand...but all I can say is maybe wait a bit longer.

jonflow - thanks for the info. I'm not sure how it could show the transaction id and not be sent though. I guess I'll be checking it in the morning

That is definitely your address. It is a change address created when you bet BTC0.001 on lessthan 64000 five days ago (transaction ID: b972604f080e8c22bf731679a6d8c04d092e2a8f00d64f5ec2979920d7b0a8d5). Since you didn't have any outputs (incoming coins sent to you in previous transactions) that were exactly BTC0.0015 (your bet plus the transaction fee), your client had to send a larger amount, and it sent the difference to yourself at a new address as "change". Change addresses are not displayed in the client, but you can receive coins at them just like any other address you own. You have, in fact, sent and received coins from this address many times, and this transaction appears no different than any of the others. The payout transaction for your win has been confirmed. Is your client fully synchronised?

Your bet transaction:

SatoshiDICE transaction info:

Payout transaction:

Everything is showing in the blockchain.  If your client has downloaded at least block 204,087 then these transactions should show.

Payout seems to have come two hours late - strange, but oh well. Thanks for the help.
