This is perhaps a bit humorous, but as I see it, a scammer tag is what people get when they 'scam', no matter the nature of the scam.

I think we could add another label, what about 'Incompetent' or 'Incompetent scammer'.

This would run well with people who does outright stupid things, and shows neglect, disrespect, malice and does incredibly stupid things when being involved in a 'scam'.

The point would be to remind everybody about the fact that the particular user is incompetent, every time that user posts anything.

I'm sure you all have good candidates for this 'incompetent' tag.

In particular users who shows neglect, and fail to take the financial loss of others seriously, when they're involved in operating a failed bitcoin business, would be good candidates.

"Asshole" might be a better tag for such people, and I nominate Patrick Strateman as the first candidate.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

An asshole tag is the last thing this forum needs. We have enough problems with scammers like usagi trying to get other forum members labelled as scammers for pointing out exactly how they're fudging their figures and defrauding their investors already. Actually giving them something that they could use as a threat would make things even worse.

Just adding that I don't see this suggestion of mine as very serious. Smiley

But it's interesting to see your views.

I agree with the asshole tag, because then people will know that they may not be a scammer, but they will more than likely be unpleasant to deal with.

Anyway, there needs to be different tags, because a lot of these "scam" cases that are coming up are in a very grey area, and aren't necessarily scamming, but there is something wrong.

As an asshole who does not fit that lame-ass description of asshole, I find your political incorrectness and cultural insensitivity offensive.

Besides, that tag would probably get the entire site blocked by most corporate content filters, not that most posts won't.

Plus, fuck you, that's why.
