Scammed 1k USD from me. I did two good transactions with PayPal earlier with a great member on this forum, but Epiks stole my money and refuses to respond. Here is his profile link, it has been over two days. This is just for everyone else to know.

You need to put this in scam accusations under trade discussions.

I have had multiple successful trades with Epiks and 1 successful trade with BitCoiner2012.

Last time epiks was accused of scamming it was a communication issue.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=103009.0

Hope its the same this time and he hasn't gone rogue.

Well, the first clue is that his last post was in August.. Maybe that doesn't mean anything, but it sure would raise a flag in my eyes...

but, yea, put him in the scammers area.

Also, that new trading bitcoin website is pretty good.. localbitcoin or something. I looked at it a while ago and even in my small area, there was a few people within 10 miles that were selling their bitcoins. Yea, its a pain but at least you most likely wont get ripped off..

This isn't the first time epiks has been called a scammer. Even without counting the thread mentioned by bcb. But unless your a hero member or higher people are unlikely to do anything about you calling someone a scammer, sad truth

take said scammer tags or any tag really with a grain of salt

superfastkyle,

I don't know if that is true.  It is based on proof.  Post a PM or chat log of the terms of the deal.   Post a screen shot of your pp transaction.  Post a link to the empty address.

If the btc address is empty after a period of time, and timing was not agreed upon previously that is a scammer.   Also the person being accused of scamming can answer in the thread as well.

So the point is Bitcoiner2012 has to post proof.

Also enough people around  here know epiks so I'm sure he'll service surface to respond.

And if he is indeed a scammer, I'll personally help in tracking him down (which won't be hard).

I fucking HATE scammers.

Your wish is my command.

Here is my pay receipt, and here are the only and last messages I received from him.

Being that this member used to be somewhat reputable it would appear, I now formally ask the community for any data they wish to volunteer regarding this fellow's identity, contact, and other such goods so I can compare or compile.

If you had not called it a gift you would be able to just say you never got it.

Do a chargeback on your credit card, paypal will not be able to stop you.

What if the funds came from a PayPal balance though?

Then the only way to get your money back is to lie to paypal saying that someone else used your account. I don't recommend doing this more than once.
