Happiness over anything and everything .Probably if i told truth and died the next day I'd regret my choice .Having choose to be happy and died I'd still be happy as I won't regret my decision .At the end of the day,you live because you want to be happy.Everything in the world we do is indirectly linked to our happiness.We do great things or probably some do drugs just to be happy.So yeah Happiness over anything.

You can't speak for everybody when you say everything we do is to be happy. Not me. I live to evolve. I live to become the greatest person I can become. I have learned earlier in my journey this does NOT mean happiness no matter what. To be great, you have to realize if you are chasing happiness, you are naturally suppressing the polarity of it. Which is unhappiness. By suppressing this unhappiness, you suffer, whether you are conscious of it or not. Its better to be neutral in life than to always strive to be happy. That being said, its not bad to pursue joy. But one must be aware of the consequences. Every action as a reaction. |

I think they are connected and here is why... Do you think that you can be happy, but actually you live in a illusion that you know the truth? Or, if you already know the truth, are you gonna be able to be happy? This two things are definitely connected and you can not separate them. I am sure that if you know the truth, even if it is crude, you will be more happy at the end of the day, instead to be happy for weeks or months about something that at end will be actually a lie! |

I am a man who likes to be in control of situations, so based on my character I would choose to know the truth. I have experienced however that the truth can sometimes be hard to bear. Thus in certain situation where the truth would be so shattering that it would destroy my comforting life, I would choose happiness.

I would choose the truth, it sets us free. The freedom to know the reality, and eventually it will make us happy without having regrets.
