Blockchain – attack is probably the best form of defence

Probably the best-known example of the P2P technology in application is Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency that is equally controversial. Incidentally, cryptocurrencies differ from conventional currencies in that the value of the currency is not guaranteed by law or an institution, but instead by trust in the underlying technology.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Yes it is indeed pretty aggressive. It looks like they are calling to get attacked or something, because why would they else something like this?
Does blackchain.info mean somthing by this? Are they gonna take some action?

Savings to the consumer will be minimal when compared to competing financial technology services being created around the globe on the blockchain. Cause bitcoin does not require permission for innovative technology.

Quote from: Blockchain – attack is probably the best form of defence
Thus, it is entirely conceivable that banks could, for instance, set up a new digital booking and clearing system amongst themselves enabling them to offer client transactions featuring the benefits of the blockchain, such as speed, efficiency, internationality and cost savings.

Who is attacking? If I read it correctly, it's the banks. Banks are facing challenges from bitcoin and they need to attack bitcoin to defend. They are also filing patents on custom uses of blockchain technology to defend against other banks.

they want to create database 2.0 - we have to be careful  Tongue

This pretty much sums up their stance.

Incredibly disruptive isn't it? Cheesy
I hate the suits! Just as they open their mouths only lies and shit is coming out of it. This bank is hopefully going to die soon.
