In my view Bitcoin may test $300 too in short term. But we need to wait for a sustained at higher prices and moving average to spot it accordingly. The new exchange and halving speculations are the news behind for the new surge in bitcoin prices. Let's wait for some more bull movements.
yeah my prediction is also when the price reaches $300 is only short term and may be quickly down again, or increased to $400-500 it was incredible  I think most people will start selling btc as soon as it touches $300 mark.This will again start price fall because of more supply. If however opposite happens and people hold on to their bitcoin,price can increase to $400-$500 If price reach $300 before christmas i will sell all my coins but if price reach $300 after end of this year and closer to halving block size. I will hold my coin i will be optimistic if goes 4 digits i will seel if not hold for halving and then will see Why you wanna sell at 4 digits? Do you expect a dump then? What if price will continue to rise and you miss to have a cheaper entry point? |

I do not expect it to go to 260 anytime soon. If it goes, well, perhaps I would sell some to buy some altcoins who have not gone up.
Depends on the speed it got. More speed reaching a high= more likely to go higher.

Looks like it's on the rise. I expect 260-270 as the peak of this rise.
what is this target practise? we cant just be throwing numbers out there and expecting btc to reach em  |

ye I hope we dont go to $300 unless some entity actually wants to accumulate a lot of coins seeing as many many many people intend to offload around there. I dont think they will all offload in one day either, there will be dumping for weeks probably.

If however opposite happens and people hold on to their bitcoin,price can increase to $400-$500 i don't think so. there is a topic in bitcoin disscussion section about this. and going through the comments there i have to say a lot of people (bitcoin hodlers) are waiting for another big rise to around ~$1000 to sell their bitcoins. and a large number of them are going to sell on half that price at $500-600 only the day traders would sell on $300 and buy back in again. |

We already break $250 barrier, so i think it's just matter of time for bitcoin price to reach $260-$270 as long as short-term holders don't dump their coins.
Also, I'm sure we will see $260 by the end of this year.
$260 by the end of this year can be achieved very easily. that's not a problem. seeing the price break through the $300 level is different. |

Look like all positive speculation are back again after bitcoin hits its lower price for 2015 last August. Back again to those $300 mark hope and expect a much more dumpers when it hits $280. It's alright then since number of dumpers are almost equal to the numbers of holders (I'll assumed).

The last weeks there is a little steady grow. It could be must faster if their come some positive news from that exhibition in China. If that goes well we could see the $300 very quickly. |

Feels like forever. I just hope it drops down to €210 or €200 so I can buy one more before it takes off. But it will most likely take off either way. And I won't be surprised if it goes beyond 4 digits ($5000 for a start). |
