Anyone know if you can run 3 cards for mining in asus p67 pro?  Will all 3 drop to X4?  Was not clear in the manual.

It won't matter, mining uses minimal bandwidth. PCI-E 1.0 x1 is more than enough bandwidth for mining.

To answer your question, when the first two x16 slots are occupied, they will drop to 8x/8x.  The last x16 slot runs off the PCH, electrically @ 4x.
