Before you get excited, it doesn't exist- but it's a great idea. Google claims to want to index all knowledge, this would seem pretty reasonable for them to index. Would be great to just type in an address and have Google Block chain explorer spit out all the details.

Well they also run google checkout, and probably see bitcoin as a competitor if they even recognize it.

I guess you can make a block explorer app and online wallet on google app engine, but it will cost you... alot.

They will sooner or later realize that google checkout is inferior compared to Bitcoin technology.

And why someone will want for google to know and record you are looking up your secret ransom/drug money bitcoin address? Does not blockchain.info or blocexplorer.com work well enough?

not only that, but google's spider already trawls blockchain.info and blockexplorer.com... go ahead try searching for an address in google.

Pages indexed in google :

blockchain.info : 2,170,000

blockexplorer.com : 5,450,000

If you don't own the private keys, you don't own the coins.

One thing is spider indexing blockexplorer.com but the Google coming up with google's own version of blockchain explorer will be whole new level. They have experience with finding relations where none sees them so the final product might be surprising. I prefer blockexplorer.com over blockchain.info but both have pros and cons and have something that other does not have.

But this will not happen anytime soon.
