Use a reputable, non-biased, impartial escrow, (not involved in anything shady), or he goes first. Also make sure to sign a message with the accounts address to prove the account sold, so that theymos can not reset the accounts password by an old user claiming it

Check out http://trumpgeneral.com/ for great Trump information

If you look at the auction and digital goods section you will find few of them to buy. After you finish the deal with seller you better use any trusted members as a escrow on this forum to send money if your dealing with new members.

A decent escrow should know the correct steps to account trading in the first place.

If there are any Bitcoin addresses/PGP related to the account, you should ask the previous owner the sign a message indicating that he sold the account to you.
This can be used to protect yourself against account recovery.

To be fairly honest, I would rather just be patient and wait till your own account reaches full member.

1. Get an escrow to check the account being sold (this is a must).
2. I would suggest that you buy an account only to those who already sold accounts or with trust feedback, rather than buy from an account seller hiding from a Newbie account.

If one can verify the account using escrow then your second point should be an issue whether seller is newbie or trusted member.

Use an escrow and ask the previous owner to sign a message. It's not that I justify buying of the accounts by giving you advice. I think that's better to just build your own account anyways.

As they've said always use an escrow if you are thinking of making any transaction in this forum. Also be sure that the account that you will buy is not hacked or something. Be sure that the seller is the real owner. A signed message from an address signed 3 months ago is a must to provide real ownership of the account. Wink

Use a reputable escrow and account seller, I'd go with neotox as seller and master-p as escrow as it seems sebastian is not escrowing account below $50 value.
