What is the point in creating a "new" southern flag? The original Southern flag is the Confederate (battle) flag, and it was used during the American civil war. For the past many centuries, the Confederate flag is a praised possession for large number of White southerners. If we create a new southern flag, all that historical legacy will be lost.
The idea being creating a new South flag is for leftist to avoid "racial hate crimes"
... But like always, they are wrong. Changing the flag will only kill the South white identity and create new scandals. Note that leftists pro-Jews (or worst, leftists Jews) love scandals because this way news will have something to say against "white nasty extremist", and thus continue propaganda !
