Been looking at Vicurex - which I'm already on - and, it's a strange place!! can someone give me a review or low-down on it, I'm not sure what's going on there...
Is it a good place, in your opinion? Much trades happening? What do you use it for?? Trading, buying, mining related??

Please consider trading on bter.com via my referral link shown here, it's a great site for profit with a wide selection of currencies and low fees. https://bter.com/signup/1566

Ziftrcoin tips please!

Vircurex is an exchange for crypto-currencies just like Bitparking or BTC-E. Therefore it's a platform that enables you to trade (buy, sell) your BTC for - let's say - NMC, LTC or even USD and EUR and vice versa.

There's nothing "mining related" to it, besides that it seems quite a few miners use it to dump their merge-mined Namecoins now and then.

Pro Vircurex:
- it has all the relevant crypto-currencies
- support for USD and EUR
- clean and simple UI
- ability to trade options

Contra Vircurex:
- it really has no market depth/volume

That's only one "contra", but it made me move away for most of my trades. I don't want to wait a day or two before finding a fitting counterpart to my trade. If that would change, I'd recommend VCE without a doubt.

Hope that helped a little.

Cheers!

Thanks man, good review  Grin I get the point about the slowness which may be an issue, which is why I wouldn't put many eggs in that basket...but it's always good to try new things...

I just started using Vicurex because they pay interest on BTC deposits over 2 BTC. The volume isn't like the big exchanges but it seems to be a lot better than the one I was using previously.

My trades executed rapidly, compared to the time it was taking at the other.

I like it so far.

According to RumblesNZ, the customer service is pretty good on Vircurex.

I've had no occasion to use it yet. I've executed quite a few trades for various cryptos without issue. Very easy to use and a good cross section of whats available as far as the better alt coins go.

Just logged into my account and there is seems to have miraculously appeared a USD balance.

Guess some interest is coming in USD now. I've been getting paid for several of the currencies in my account already.

Pretty sweet. Thanks Vicurex
