I'm looking for an email service that is similar to what is offered by riseup.net but not run by anarcho-communists. I tried tormail but never could get it working on Thunderbird. Anybody have any recommendations?

Go on the bitcoin wiki, buy anonymous domain and find hosting in Iceland, best email security you will find anywhere because they aren't bound by bullshit UK, American or EU data retention laws. Slap privacybox.de in front of it to encrypt everything that comes to you

http://privatdemail.net/en/ is good for free no retention email, but servers are in Egypt and have a stupid 'no emailing ppl in israel' policy
