Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Oh God, what a waste of resources and effort. As a new party, it would take a monumental effort to get on the ballot in enough states to have even a mathematical shot at the presidency and at this point, third parties are merely there as a protest vote. He'd be better off forming a PAC to help Rand out and get all his followers to support Rand who already is well known for his positions against government snooping and spying.

Agreed. Starting a new party in this way is a waste of resources. A third party could only make it if he had dozens of famous supporters across the U.S.

At least he's making some noise for Bitcoin.
