Unfortunately, Google is the worst captcha provider. reCaptcha version 1 and version 2 are extremely flawed, and after many numerous attempts to message and anticipate a reply on the Google Developer boards, I have yet to hear a reply or solution to the problem.

If you plan on keeping the heavy fauceters around, you need to get rid of reCaptcha. The solutions that I need to solve are IMPOSSIBLE to read, and even when I enter the letters/numbers exactly as they are, it reports an invalid captcha solution. This happens when a user rotates through all the sites that use reCaptcha, and after around 50 solves (which is easy for a fauceter to do in a single day), the captcha becomes ridiculously illegible.

TheFreeBitcoin.com was included on my list of top faucets for the launch of our new site, but unfortunately, faucets that use reCaptcha (version 1) are being removed completely from the list.

I hope you reconsider using reCaptcha version 1. May I suggest funCaptcha?

After much thoughts, I've decided to change it back to solvemedia but this means we will have to watch on the bot patterns more aggressively. (Exhausting and never-ending battle!)

You should really check out funCaptcha. They are using some behind-the-scene stuff to combat bots, and the several major faucet admins I've spoken with say that it hasn't just minimized their bot traffic, but it has ELIMINATED it. Go check out their website, and search for "funCaptcha" here on BitcoinTalk to see what other members are saying about them. I think they are the most underutilized and underrated internet service company at the moment. Maybe give them a shot and then monitor your traffic to see the changes for yourself? You may have just as good of luck as the other faucet admins!
