In fact you can not get free altcoins in a quantity, it is not possible  If you make your own altcoin, then yes, you can have a lot of them for free

Bitcoin becomes bull. Altcoins are down a lot. This is a great time to buy them up. I don't think it is worth to get the free coins.

I do not know if anyone provides altcoin for free.
but on forum bounty a lot of information that offers cooperation to get token or altcoin. You can join there to get what you want. when the price increases please sell it with the appropriate price.

Mostly now there are ICO airdrops that are something like it was before giveaway in alt. This can be similar to that but mainly now you need to do something for this airdrop and before was only to place address for that coin.

I don't know so much but oth (otho network) do it rarely. For this you can follow otho network bounty forum and register with bitcointalk forum nickname.
But i think you can find good bounties from this forum. If u want u can research my signature. It is very good project. I think giveaway is luckwork but bounty is different and better than it.
