Which one would you use for buying or selling BTC internationally? Do you have experience using some of these? Any other good suggestions? PayPal etc. would be great, but they can't be used for a bigger scale exchange because of their usage policies.

I'd like to hear about Link2Voip's payment method distribution if possible Smiley

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Use PayPal only if you like having your funds frozen. They also don't allow currency conversion and are prone to "friendly fraud" (see: chargeback).

Best are: Liberty Reserve, c-gold, Pecunix, Loom, e-dinar, MoneyBookers (with written permission to do currency exchange), and possibly AlertPay (again with written permission to do currency exchange).

Some other methods: money order, bank transfer, cash (in person or via postal mail), physical gold and silver, gold and silver certificates, hawala, ripplepay (prone to fragmentation problems), and LETS/Time Dollars.

Want more suggestions? I can go on and on.

Yep. WebMoney is very popular in Russia, the second one is Yandex.Money (but it is not suitable for international exchanges). I don't like WM for being over-paranoid, but since it is the most popular payment system in ex-USSR, I have an account for it. Maybe I will set up some exchanger for WM <-> BC or Ya.M <-> BC Smiley

Wow, pecunix, i have never heard about that payment method, maybe that is because nobody is using that one here in my country. Monegray is very famous in here, but a lot of people are having issues with that one.

Bank transfer is always going to be one of the most safest ways to send money, but international fees are very expensive, a simple wire transfer to another country is over $40, and i am talking only about fees.

That is why bitcoin could be much more better than wire transfers in all the aspects, just compare $4 to $40 about the fees, it is insane.

I have been using monegram for more than two years and they are one of the best international payment proccesors that i have ever used. Paypal is a good option too, but they are only using US dollars, and that is not my fiat money.

And pacunix is a good one too, a very good friend of mine has been using that one, and he never had problems too. But yes, the design is pretty horrible, and that is one of the reasons of why a lot of people are not using it, because it is horrible.

A topic that was opened about 8 years ago, I think 8 years ago there was no international money transfer method. Despite not being in the year 2018, there is no international money transfer method today. Apart from Bitcoin, there are classical bank and switch methods as international money transfer method. Unfortunately, there has been no development for 8 years.

honestly, I'm still using bank transfer as my payment method since it's more convenient for me and a lot more safer I think. But I believe blockchain technology will help us to improve on this matter, a lot of countries will surely use this in the future.

Bitcoin is still banned here, there is no other way than to use the Bank.
The government has not understood that bitcoin is a new technology that makes it easy for its users.

For me personally, I don't need to use anything other than bitcoin for purchases that I make. Everything that I want to buy (when I'm buying internationally) is a peer to peer transaction so that I don't have to jump through hoops and stuff. Worst case ends up being bitpay but even that isn't bad at all. I try to stay away from paypal as best I can, but for when it's needed I like to keep my balance topped off a little bit. It makes sense to just use whatever payment method is needed in the moment rather than forcing yourself to stick to one.

This area is up for grabs! PM me if you're interested.
