No its a nulled theme.

No. It won't update to the newer version. Nulled themes are detected and can't get any update from the original coder/publisher of it.

Alright since update is not an automatic something as regards the nulled version what about the licensed version, will it update automatically when there is a new release of the theme?

The only legit way to get this theme is from http://themeforest.net/item/betheme-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/7758048 If anyone is interested in this, I would recommend to just buy it from the creator.

There are no resellers of this theme and reselling a "license" is not possible, so OP is obviously just selling a copy which is not allowed per license agreements. Probably even gives the "free" outdated download version.
