ClaimBitcoin - Android bitcoin faucet app

Hi all

I would like to share with you new Android faucet-like app I've created over the last couple of days. I call it Claim Bitcoin, because I own a domain of the same name for quite a while and I finally found a use for it. App is compatible with Android 2.3.3+. For the moment I have set the initial claims for 250 satoshis, because I don't have a slightest clue about how much this kind of app could earn via ads, with timer set for 30 minutes. When I get some data back, I will revise and adjust the claim amount (and I hope it will be much more then).

You are all very welcome to try it out.


  


Referral system
Of course, Claim Bitcoin has built-in referral system, which can generate you a nice income, if you find an audience to share with. Referral earnings are 50% from every claim and are lifetime, meaning that if someone registers an address after installing through your link, you will get reward from every claim for that address, forever. Your link should be in format:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.claimbitcoin&referrer=<your-bitcoin-address>

Please kindly give me heads up if you plan to send hundreds of users at once (I would like to make arrangements so the server will handle it).

• Variable claim amounts based on ad revenue (probably will revise on weekly basis)
• System notification of time to claim
• Generous referral system
• Unbeatable app design (actually, this one is a joke, but I will work on that)

Tried it, looks like im one of the first to try your android faucet.. May you got a good earning from it..
But, don't you think 250sat every 30 mins is too low? IMHO, you need to increase the payment a bit (or a lot ) to attract more people. More people means more ads clicked, right?

Thank you for your feedback. I'm just now processing the data from the first week. Because they look very promising, I will definitely adjust the amount for the next week. I will keep the details for myself just for a little bit longer, I will publish it together with some statistics I've collected on Sunday here and on the blog, which I hopefully finish until then.

I started it mainly as an experiment with in-app ads, but I am glad that it attracted so many users in just a few days. I am excited to see more of them when I raise the rewards.

I'm already using couple of bitcoin faucets on my mobile phone and it is a good way to make some small amount of satoshis. This faucet is nice, 250 sat. per half hour is low but its ok for beginners like me. I hope u will rise it soon and attract more people.

I use Free bitcoin and bitcoin alliance. Maybe u need to add some prizes(dailly or weekly) or jackpots. To not be droningly, always 250. And not need to be always or to be very much. Just a bit to make it more interesting.

thank you for your interest in the app. You can claim twice each hour, and a reward is not fixed for good, I will change it weekly as I get the revenue data from ads. For the second question, I needed to use compatibility libraries to be able to provide this app even for users with older versions of Android. That took most of the 5 MB.

Every half an hour, dear..
And the developer was planning to raise the amount if they found the app profitable. So if we want it to increases, just click the ad whenever it appears, only took us a few second but we benefit everyone here

One of the faucet app i use on android pops an ad every time you hit "claim" button, so why don't you copy that method?
I learn that your ads are only the tiny one on the lower part of my screen and some larger ad that rarely popped up into my screen. tried to click them anytime they appear, though, giving you the credit you deserve..

I made it this way, so it is random and I don't get too many clicks from individuals, but rather from the group. The last thing I would want is to have my account banned for suspicion of fraudulent behaviour. I hope that is understandable when there is only a handful of users. We'll see if it changes in future.

Hi all,

before we get to the big announcement tomorrow, I would like to inform you that I've issued a new version of the app to Google Play. I've dropped a support for Android 2.x completely, as the code started to become hard to maintain even for such small app. I also fixed a bug with notifications not showing properly and crashing the app instead that some of you reported. Update should be available in couple of hours, after it gets reviewed by Google Play.

I hope this amount will be sustainable for the long-term, I'm just in the beginning of collecting fresh data. Of course, if ad revenues grow together with number of users, I will surely raise the amount again in the future.

I'm fine with the amount, 500 sat for doing nothing but checking my phone every half an hour? Its good enough.. Thanks again..

Is it possible to fix a bit the notification system? The notification icon doesn't disappear after a claim and also it would be nice to add other settings like the led color or vibrate.

It doesnt really help now in my opinion
