What best describe why you have Bitcoin in your wallet? For me it would be using. Because I already know what a normal person should know about Bitcoin (learning). Bitcoin is my only source of online income and I use them wisely (playing). I have not buy Bitcoin with my money before (investing). So I think using best describe me. What about you?

Bitcoin is interesting because it impacts people in so many different ways and provides opportunity for people in so many different ways.

It provides income earning opportunities.

It provides investment opportunities.

It provides a new industry for people to create goods and services for.

To the OP, how have you been earning your bitcoin? What kind of income do you make monthly or annually - if you don't mind sharing?

I'm using Bitcoins to pay my utility bills (Phone and Electric bills).
I'm investing in Bitcoins since I see a good earning opportunity due to its exchange rate changes almost every minute.
I'm still learning more about Bitcoins and I'm thankful that there is a forum like this that opens the door to everyone to learn about Bitcoins. It's not enough that you know how to earn Bitcoins, you also need to learn where it comes from or it's origins.

I would say I'm still in my investing stage, and investing some of my income into bitcoin and few other altcoins I see promise in.. while also investing my time to learn new things about bitcoins so I can invest money and time wisely.  It's still a "wild west" feeling about bitcoin, and there are still plenty of entrepreneurs out there planning to make the best new service to make bitcoins, or another altcoin that could possible change the game for cryptocurrency in general... it's definitely an interesting time to be in.

That's a good decision you have there. Never put all your eggs in 1 basket. If ever Bitcoin exchange rate goes way way down, altcoins is still a good investment. So far I invested some of my earnings here to Clams.

I just investing with bitcoin may be for my retirement or beyond for my grand peoples. Learning bitcoin is also suitable for me, because on not computer geek, I'm slow in learning programming related things. But surely I'm not ready to play with bitcoin just like doubling or HYIP kind of programs.

The best word to describe my relations with BTC is learning. Yes, I do have some coins and don't sell them and not going to in the near future so maybe its investing too  Smiley, but seriously - no, I don't have even one whole coin so what kind of an investment is that? And I also gamble sometimes with BTC, but not much,  I lost less than 5% of all btc I ever had with gambling, so I can't really call it playing because if you are playing you lose much more.  Smiley

So yes, I'm learning.

Bitcoins is really interesting, I never saved money before in my life im in my mid 20s.

Im reading so much news everyday and different kinds of things now it's become so positive in my life and opening my eyes to so many things, especially reading things in the fourm topics in economics and TA charts.

By the word "interesting", I can assume that you are playing with Bitcoin right? I hope it will soon be "using" for you.

Well said. Bitcoin provides earning, investment opportunities to everyone.

I started earning Bitcoin from Bitcointalk via Signature campaign late last year. Initially, I earn around two to four USD every week. As time goes on, my payout increases. Last month I made 0.2 BTC on this board.

Good to hear that someone is actually paying phone and electric bills using Bitcoin. I hope I will be able to do the same too.

Yes. I have to agree that it is not enough to know what is Bitcoin. Although I dont get the full concept of Bitcoin but I believe that what I know now is already okay. I mean... In order to get Bitcoin mainstreamed, it need to be simplified. So one can use Bitcoin without actually knowing the "behind-the-scene".

Agree. This is the year 2015 and Bitcoin is only six years old. We may not be consider as early adopters today but we are actually one of them ten years later. This is actually one of the best time to invest our time and money into Bitcoin. I have invested countless of time on Bitcoin. I hope that I will have the confidence to invest my money in Bitcoin before it is too late.

I earned my bitcoins starting with poker freerolls and raised them basically gambling: so I'm playing wiht bitcoin.

I'm not sure if it's considered using because every time I earn Bitcoins I convert it to my local currency so I an buy things that I need. I earn Bitcoins from signature campaigns and trading. Not sure as well if you can call it an investment since I buy Bitcoins when I have extra money and keep it until exchange rate is good enough so I have some profits.

Welcome to Bitcointalk. You are right. Bitcoin is the opportunity for all of us. It can provide us with a secure future if we buy and hold them tight. There might be time where Bitcoin value is extremely low but .. Hold on!

Very similar to me. I dont have a full Bitcoin. However, I'd consider it as an investment too. Even a Satoshi is consider as an investment. Simply because you are holding onto something that will be used worldwide in the future. Smiley. I hope you will learn from your mistake and not gamble again. 5% is not much if you dont have one full Bitcoin yet.

It is consider using as long as you "use" them. It is also consider investment as long as you invest your money (or time) into it. I hope you will be loyal to Bitcoin and start using them only at shop that accept Bitcoin such as Overstock. Anyway, it's good that you are actually earning Bitcoin online and buy things in real life.

I am using Bitcoin every day now, but never more than what I have invested. My goal is to support the merchants, who accepted Bitcoin as a payment method, and to keep some Bitcoins for a investment.

You also need to keep some Bitcoins to explore and to experiment with new sites and services offering Bitcoin payment. So I use it for research too, when I feel adventurous. ^HeH^

I too will be doing all the three actions. I guess all are must be continuous process. May be Op should be using in stead of playing, because playing is not all the bitcoiners will do.

I use them as an investing/earning opportunity. It is fun, and somewhat you get to risk/be more adventurous than with old regular money.

I am using Bitcoin daily. I am also learning through the Bitcoin and have learnt amazingly a lot so far, about the Bitcoin but also above everything else like computers, security, finances, economics, etc. I have invested in Bitcoin some of my savings and I am also earning from Bitcoin a little.

The most important is that I am exploring with Bitcoin new possibilities and I am enjoying Bitcoin and all of the crypto currencies completely!
