First Ever Blockchain Hackathon to be Held in Dublin
Blockchain or bitcoin’s distributed public ledger has been touted as one of the next biggest potential disruptions in technology, so much so that developers are organizing the first ever blockchain hackathon to be held in Dublin, Ireland.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I wonder who would benefit the most... the participants or the 22 banks who needs to setup a team to develop a "private" Blockchain for them? It would be better if this was done

to improve the Bitcoin Blockchain and not to further the interest of these bankers. I guess a lot of people will sell their principles or they just need the money.

Working for the banks, is totally against the basic principles or goals for Bitcoin supporters.  Huh
