hmm, but now we don`t know if you can manipulate it =p
why you don`t add a secret salt as any other website?
for exemple, supose the last character would be a number 4...
the server have a secret salt, where you divulgue the SHA256 before someone bet, after someone plays this secret salt will change the value of this number 4 in for exemple +5, so the final result is 9
and anyone can check if the bet is honest... you don`t need hidden algorithm.
just like any other provably fair website

The key of a given day is made public after midnight (UTC) of the next day;
You can verify each deposit personally.

Your lucky bets are determined using a hash of the following string:
<tx_id>:<secret_key>, where:
<tx_id> is the transaction id of your bet as assigned by your wallet. (This data is controlled by you.)
<secret_key> is the secret key of the day. It is unknown to you at the time of playing.
The day of your bet is determined by the moment CryptoFATE receives your bet's transaction. (Typically 1 to 10 seconds after you sent it.)
From the hash of <tx_id>:<secret_key>, CryptoFATE takes The last character of a hash determine your lucky bet with choice of your sequence (01234567) or (89ABCDEF).
You can easily verify that your lucky moves were correct by computing the hash of the string <tx_id>:<secret_key> of your bet.
