Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh ???After sending some BTC to my wallet, I restarted my PC as it didn't seem to be running smoothly and the confirmation counter hadn't appeared. Now when I start Armory, it is constantly in a state of "initializing bitcoin engine". It says this should only take a few minutes but it seems to be eternal. How do I resolve this problem and access my wallet?

wait. Be patient. This is actually pretty normal behavior. Bitcoin Armory can take a very long time to start up.

Armory can take some time to initialize bitcoind, but if it's taking longer than 5 minutes to initialize with no progress bar, something may be wrong and you should check bitcoind yourself. If there is a progress bar, Armory is downloading the transaction history to disk.

Did you know there are 1,461,501,637,330,902,918,203,684,832,716,283,019,655,932,542,976 possible bitcoin addresses? To put that into perspective, that's greater than the width of the universe in zeptometers (10^-21 meter).

It has been at the same stage for days now, the progress bar hasn't gone up at all there is just a green and grey spinning disc. Would be nice to be able to access my bitcoins at some point in the not too distant future. What do you mean by check bitcoind?

Try opening Bitcoin-Qt and check if there are any error messages. Chances are your DB may be corrupt and you'll have to reindex.

Had this exact same problem.

Opened Bitcoin Core, which told me my database was corrupt and that I had to rebuild... I let that run for about 5 mins, shut it down, then restarted Armory. Armory then started downloading/rebuilding my database.

This happened after I upgraded to the latest Armory (0.93.3) which, after installing, told me it needed to blow away my database and rebuild, which I agreed to.
