This is kind of subjective.
I'd like to know what Signature Campaign managers consider to be a constructive post.
Is it a topic that gets lots of replies?
Is it a simple answer to another member's question?
What are the guidelines for a Constructive Post?

Any useful post is a constructive post.

They should not be against the forum rules, should be relevant to the topic, reasonably understandable, should contribute something to the overall discussion or conversation, contain helpful info, etc. etc.

Repeating the same answers to a question in the OP already answered may not be seen as constructive or contributing to the discussion.

It is highly subjective, and I must admit that I sometimes commit insubstantial posts specially when I'm tired and light-headed but still want to post. As long as a post has something to do/related with the thread, and is deemed useful and helpful by other users that commented also in that thread. A single sentence could be a constructive post, provided that it is on-topic and is really helpful in the progression of the thread.

Might be subjective, but does not necessarily have to be. It depends on the view point of a user (i.e. in this case moderator). Some are less strict, some are more. In most cases it is pretty obvious to me if the post is 'constructive' or not. A simple example of a user that is posting for money is when they disregard everything and just answer to the thread title. This is very risky as sometimes the title can be quite the opposite from what was written. Users are not generally judged by a single post, but are rather examined after a 'bad' post gets reported.
Note: This is from a moderators point of view, not a campaign managers.

A fine example of useless posts (and threads) are 'drama threads' Signature campaign participants love to post in those. I wonder why.

Is it a topic that gets lots of replies?
No. A post != opening a thread.
Is it a simple answer to another member's question?
Sometimes, yes. Sometimes the best way to answer a question/problem is writing a short answer (e.g. 1 sentence). This is a constructive post while: A) Solves problem/query; B) Contributes (sharing knowledge). Just keep in mind that you don't post the same answer after it was already posted once (or multiple times) - a mistake that spammers often make.

Well constructive post in my opinion in majority of cases would be a post that you would post even if you are not in a signature campaign.

So to post constructively, you should add to a discussion first of all. You should help other posters in a thread if they asked for a help. You should raise questions or challenge posters in order to make discussion deeper and more relevant. These questions or statements that you make can sometimes be subjective, sometimes you can paraphrase other people, it just depends.

So just a normal discussion in my opinion. Also the size of the post doesn't matter in my opinion. Sometimes a person will say more in a sentence than someone in 10 sentences. This doesn't mean that you should post all one liners.

Cheers!

Can a relevant question  on the thread can be considered a constructive post or not? As mentioned above its always an answer to the question posted?

I assume you meant asking a question on a thread that you didn't make?

It can be, as long as you stay in topic. Just make sure to read the replies first and use the search function of this forum to check if someone has asked the same question in the past, just so we wouldn't have redundant questions here.

Constructive post has nothing to do with a 'topic that gets lots of replies' you need to make a unique reply not edited-copy of other user's reply should be related to the topic, try not to reply in threads with 5-6 pages of posts since what you were going to post is already posted by other user, posting rules vary according to the campaign usually its 75-100 min char count per post and all other rules are pretty much the same, try not to go off-topic on any thread that would be counted as spam always make a reply that is related to the topic.

Constructive post means post that are on topic and are around 75 characters or more and more likely the sentence should be understandable. You just follow the rules written on the certain campaign.

This is kind of subjective.
I'd like to know what Signature Campaign managers consider to be a constructive post.
Is it a topic that gets lots of replies?
Is it a simple answer to another member's question?
What are the guidelines for a Constructive Post?
A constructive post is usually considered if it is on subject of the topic.
Must be in proper english language so that others can understand well.
It should not have any personal referance links included. main link is allowed as far as it is helpful.
Must not be below 100 characters, however some signature campaign managers make it 200 characters minimum.

Simple or lots of replies, you can considered it a constructive post if it's understandable, useful and on topic. But there are some campaign managers that gives a 75 or above minimum of characters that you need to make on every post you do.

For me constructive means you have to be very subjective in a topic you are commenting into. It has to be logical, understandable and has a lot of sense no matter how long or short the sentences are as long you explained and answer the questions very well. For me that is a constructive post.
