to run something like local bitcoins clone.. its better to write your own code from scratch. that way you can debug much easier.

however if you cant code or to lazy to do such. then i am afraid you wont earn peoples trust to put their funds in a lazy copy.

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

I'll try to be as polite in my reply as possible, but I'm not sure that's such a good idea.  I wouldn't know how to set up a service like that either and would take it as a sign that I shouldn't try to.  I wouldn't want to be in charge of running a service where money is changing hands unless I knew exactly what I was doing and how it all works.  Bitcoin doesn't need anymore services that end up losing a bunch of BTC through exploits or hacks.  If you aren't familiar enough with the technical side of things to build it yourself, you probably shouldn't be trying.

I was just searching on GitHub for you but didn't find anything , however I found this user selling a similar script : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1190966.0 . (finally make sure to read what both of above users said)

It's basically just a service to bring people together, with the same interest... a glorified online database.  Roll Eyes Get someone to list a couple of countries and cities and provide a

function for them to list their details, or a chat area for them to arrange a meeting. Do not make it Bitcoin specific..  Wink ...Build a drop down menu, for different hobbies.. if it's coin

collection, people can select that and only coin collectors will be show.... if they select Bitcoin... only Bitcoin traders will be shown. If you open it up, you could get away with it.

I'am not sure about that , I never used Localbitcoins so I'am not sure how it works and if they do have fees that goes for them and that kind of stuff . But if you ask me each website out there with shitload of traffic should make profit .
Now for safety I'am not sure either because I never bought the script , you asked , I searched and linked you . That's all Shocked As I said make sure to read what the above users said if you don't have programming knowledge and you are not willing to hire security experts to see the script for you etc ... then It's just waste of time & users for you and users .

It won't be profitable for you untill you spend a lot on advertisement .:p also your cloned website must provide something unique to users.(if you want them keep coming back)

I wouldn't consider it unless you can afford the advice of legal experts who specialize in anti money laundering law. There are serious penalties for setting up any money transmitter business without complying with all applicable laws. That's why local bitcoins enforces submission of KYC documents for all customers doing business there except those doing face to face swaps.
