As someone who strongly supports a Socially Democratic form of government, I've been trying to figure out how Bitcoin would fit in with that political and economic model.  Is there anyone who lives in a country that has a Social Democrat type of system here who might give me some insight? I know I'm being pretty vague but I guess I'm asking "could/does Bitcoin still have the freeing power in a social democracy as it does in the current US system?"
