Let's say we are not the first solar system, and they have 1000 or 2000 years more technology ahead. statistically there is evidence of extraterrestrial living beings. That's probably the least possible scenario if you ask me. Why would aliens come to our planet and not reveal themselves? what possible motive could they have? What's the motive? I mean, if they can travel through hundreds and possibly thousands of light years of distance in less than a lifetime that means that they already have huge sources of energy and understanding of quantum effects. Why would they come to earth at all, and then hide from us? I don't see how that makes any sense at all.

There are countless planets in the universe. If life was born on Earth then it could certainly appear on some of other similar planets.
