It's also completely anonymous; no registrations or anything. No higher company forcing us to connect credit cards/banks for better perks!

Honestly, the only reason why merchants would be afraid of accepting bitcoins is either because of the inconsistent price and/or because they don't understand what bitcoin is.

Worse then credit cards is ebay and paypal.  Even if you take out the scammers on it.  They charge a massive amount.

It's like they can double dip on charging you.  They hit up you on ebay for fees as seller, then they take fees from paypal which almost everyone uses on ebay.  If they offered bitcoin with escrow it would be amazing compared to current fees.
