National day in Spain.

Hello guys, today 12th October is the national day in Spain (which celebrates the union between America and Spain). As every single year we have people who HATES in my own country this day, claiming it was a genocide. But despite of, people in AmericaLatina they also celebrates this day..

In this country (Spain) a highly percent of the population hates the army and they dont respect it. In they national day they do a parade by the capital and is on the TV. They say is a waste of money, but they dont say with Gay day, carnival parade or other things because its mean alcohol and party. I also think the army is quite like the symbol of your country, so why would you be disrepectful with something is protecting you in case of war.

I just envy other countries where people who is in the army are treated as heroes.


I mean, i don't understand.. people who hates his own country.

Is this just happening here?  I just envy 14th July in France or 4th July in USA.

Well as i read, there was a genocide, maybe that is the reason people are angry at the army. I am sure it was a long time ago, so it is just history. Everywhere in every country there are people like those, so celebrate your national day and do not worry about those people )))
