I've noticed that the MtGox price of BTC (in USD) has dropped by over 10% since Thursday 25th October ($11.60 -> around $10 now). Was there any major event that could have spurred such a movement?

It may seem like a weekend dip at first, but the fact that it was $11.XX then $10.XX until today and now $10< Begs to differ.
