Do you think that children will punish themselves? The public had the tools, the ability, and the knowledge of corruption necessary to affect a disciplinary recourse of our electorate, yet individually-and-collectively we've decided not to act as if we had "hoped" they'd realize the error of their ways and change themselves. I'm not passing the blame on to others, I'm equally responsible for my own present and future inaction, some of the burden of failure rests upon my shoulders, along with millions of others.
Sadly, it's too late to alter this course. The "children" in this narrative have grown into outright ruthless killers, rapists, and thieves. The majority of the blame for this rests squarely on the shoulders of the baby boomers. They had everything they needed to reign in government corruption, the necessary governmental frame-work existed with enough capacity to "nudge" the government back in line. They hand-picked our fate; took their hands off the steering wheel when the tire blew out so they could cover their eyes, and by doing so chose a path which could only lead to our own death and destruction...
This tragedy that we're complacently involved in will engulf us in the wrath of our fellow man. I'm not the religious type, but to me there's absolutely no difference between the Earthly wrath of God, and the Earthly wrath of man. What difference does it matter if the fire lit beneath us is lit by another man, or by the divine hand of God himself? The flames are still the instrument set to consume our bodies either way, and flames don't care who created them. Semantics for the fool who's soon to depart from this world...
It's too late now. No revolution can save us, no 2nd Amendment, civil-war, or Constitutional Convention could even conceivably alter the course of this society; already run aground, immobilized, and ransacked of all the valuables aboard. Our elected (career) politicians; the traitorous, thieving, murdering, villainous scum of the Earth have brought the wrath of our fellow man; the entire world, to break down our door. It was our social responsibility to our fellow man that we manage our electorate; after all, they had no power over how we run our home in "the Land of the Free". No... The mobs of the world whom our "children" have victimized have already consorted with our natural enemies to enact their vengeance upon us, and they're coming. Close enough now that the army of torch-lights can be seen illuminating the sky on the horizon...
In the words of Caesar: "The die is cast." but it wasn't we who crossed the Rubicon this time...
I'm not in a good mood right now.
