I'd like to know if it's possible to mark or favorite a thread or post to come back to it later for reference other than bookmarking it on my browser.

You may use the watch list function on each thread which is located on the top right side of this thread and after clicking watch, you may check the thread on Watchlist located on top left of each page, infront of your profile name ( a little below it )

It will only show up on your "Watchlist" directly if something new happened since your last visit, e.g. a new post. Once you clicked Watchlist though you can select "edit watchlist" to find all threads on it. In that case you only have to remember the name to search through the list.

Its not perfect as a favorite system though as all threads you reply to get added to your watchlist automatically.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Op, and what is exactly wrong with saving your favourite posts of threads directly in your browser?
Isn't it a best solution after all? Just create folder dedicated for bitcointalk and save interesting threads there.

Well just make a reply and you can see the thread under "Show new replies to your posts." when new reply occurs or just add to watch list and the best option would be to bookmark that thread in browser. Smiley

In my thought just create a different folder to bookmark bitcointalk threads.
Bookmarking all site links may mess your bookmarked list of content. So, dividing them will be more feasible to look into

Or you can use bitcointalk function called directly called watchlist which is already been explained by other members here
