I have to admit that logansryche's doing a fine job here and may have a new calling; namely, providing 30 minute updates of world news that effect bitcoiners. There's a US presidential election currently slated for next Tuesday. I hope logansryche is able to provide the same service starting when the first polls open to the last one closes, including Obama's concession speech.

Elections are currently suspended due to the storm. I haven't heard when they'll resume, but stay tuned here as I'll post it when I hear it. 1pm update... Sandy has been officialy classified as a superstorm Sandy is expected to die off completly by the weekend, leaving behind wind, rain, and snow Gov Christie says it'll take 8 days to get all power going in NJ, and another to get trains running NYC subways still flooded, estimated time hasn't been set to get running LaGuardia has a mix of rain/ice on runways that's 5" thick, making it slippery and dangerous Gov Christie proposes Haloween be moved in the effected areas so children aren't out wondering in the dark NYSE to open on Wednesday

No new weather news, but from what I'm seeing on the feeds, elections will still go off when their suppose to. It's quite possible they stopped them for the day for the effected states although from what I was reading this morning, when Romney was out in Ohio campaigning, people were voicing that he should be in NY helping and not in Ohio campaigning. I'll stay on the feeds and post any new news.
