Q: How are my bitcoins secured on my account?

On ExtraPoint, your account's bitcoin private key is stored in an encrypted format on ExtraPoint's servers. The private key is encrypted with your account's password. The hash of your password is stored to authenticate yourself with ExtraPoint. Please note: it's very important to choose a strong password when creating your account. You will be prompted to write down a seed when registering. If you lose your password, the only way to recover your funds is with your seed. We do not store/know your password.


Q: What happens to my bitcoin after I enter a game?

Your bitcoin is placed into a 2-of-3 multi-signature address. This 2-of-3 multi-signature address is controlled by you, your opponent and ExtraPoint, as each party controls one key. Your password is your key. Once your game is complete, ExtraPoint will sign a transaction redeeming the money from the multi-signature address to the winner of the game. The winner uses their password as the 2nd signature needed and claims their winnings. This allows for decentralized control of bitcoin during an active game.

Every transaction (deposit, withdrawal, entry into a contest, etc.) is a bitcoin transaction that you can see on the blockchain. Transactions are signed with your password.

We store the hash of your password only. We use the hash to verify authorization requests and create unsigned transactions specific to the user.

Just received an email informs me that I got the 0.0025btc. I thought it will be credited instantly after sign up, but I was wrong. Got the bonus few hours after sign up, but it is good to avoid bonus abuser

Also want to know is their any reason or rules your set to give out these free coins as sign up bonus? I think the way bonus is given is good it would avoid abuse to some extent, still people find a way to abuse it.

As what I posted before, the free btc is not credited instantly. I got it few hours (1-2hours) after registration. just tried to withdraw it because I do not know how to play in this game LOL, so lets see I will receive it or not.
