china also has all the facilities for manufacturing war goods, even the idea that china might fear a war with japan is ridiculous. if something like that were to break out, china could squash japan in a matter of days; the only fear would be the rest of the world stepping in.
mainland china only fears own citizens
isnt it the other way around? citizens fearing their country/government?

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

real citizens do not fear their country/government no matter dictatorship there or not.

obviously government not equals to country althrough lots of people especially in country such as mainland china dont understand this point.

if citizens give up their human right then citizen is so-called, only remain title there

Smiley. Back in 1894 during the first Sino-Japanese war the world thought the very same, but bureaucracy and corruption plagued the Chinese side so much what made the whole campaign a cakewalk for the numerically and technologically inferior but more organized and determined Japanese forces.

that's called patriotism, taken to an extreme level. governments these days do top-secret shady stuff, and people are silenced to keep those secrets hidden away. in this day and age where governments are controlled by inner circles and higher ups, even in the usa for example, its hard to remain patriotic or loyal to a governing body.

because in an 1on1 it would be like an industry nation vs a 3rd world nation.

and japan would not be the industry nation this time.

You have no idea about the Japanese military. In a one-to-one battle, Japan will beat the Chinese hands down. The Japanese Air Force and Navy is much more superior than that of the PLA. And the Chinese Army, at the best can match their Japanese counterparts. Japan has some of the most advanced weapons in the world, while China produces cheap copycats after stealing Russian technology.

You should update your information because they are atleast 10-15 years old.

China doesnt only have the quantity they are modernizing their military by a ridiculous speed in the past 15 years.
For example their submarines are on par with germans which are the best in the world.

China is without doubt the central super power in SEA.
And im just talking about conventional weapons not even nuclear (which japan doesnt have).
There is no way japan could win a 1on1.

All that isnt suprising if you just look at the military budget of the respective nations (2014):
1. Usa ~600 billion
2. China ~200 billion
3. Russia ~80 billion
.
.
.
9. Japan ~40 billion

Meh even they are copying everything, Chinese can invade Japan in less than a week, Tokyo unfortunately will not resist too much.
The Japanese after the wwII are against war and I don't think their army alone will get a chance.
No need to talk about the nuke.

China will be able to invade Japan in less than a week? The Japanese Navy is ten times stronger than the PLA Navy. And in modern warfare, population is insignificant. If it was so, then the Serbs (at that time less than 10% of the Kosovan population) wouldn't have been able to beat the shit out of the Muslims (more than 90% of the population) in Kosovo. Hmm... that is, before the NATO bombing of the Serbian orphanages and kindergartens.

Hello what you said about the kosovo war is wrong comrade, this war was uneven between the Kosovan separatists and the serbian terrorists army  (aka Yougoslavia) under melosovic the reaper  Wink
And the NATO did a good thing to destroy the serbian understructures as always (the only thing that NATO never fails in).  Tongue
You like my black humour?  Undecided Just to say it is a war between an army vs separatists (not 90% of random civilians and few separatists)

China has a huge active army and the double in reserve, besides we never know what they are hiding. The Japanese airstrikes (tora tora style?) are useless vs a big country and their mainland isn't far from China to prevent the flooding troops.
Naval army yeah maybe it can cause a few delay but definitely will not stop the 7 millions army! With their planes and ships (no need to a military one).

Maybe uncle Kim will get a problem invading S.K but Chinese vs Japanese = 1-0 at least.

Personally I prefer that Japan stay peaceful and avoid problems. Great land & citizens.

Discuss the reasons here Why China Should Not Fear the Resurgence of Japanese Militarism?

China is a major exporter and ultimately should not alienate the global community that supports its economy by threatening its neighbors with aggressive military maneuvers.  Russia is a good example of a strong country that severely damaged its ties with the West and has suffered economically.  In the age of mutually assured destruction, no super power is really looking to start a hot war with another super power.  Hyping up external threats to increase nationalist fervor may serve the Chinese political system, but could have dangerous consequences.

It's maxed out its land capacity
While still advanced China has the people and growing resources to develop even further into a superpower alongside its Russia-China axis.
