i think in present time most of the people are using bitcoin for investment. i think 95% people are holding bitcoin for the price increase. i think a very little percent of people are using it as for shopping and other activities. and the reason behind this is that they have very little opportunities to use it.

People are holding it and not using it only because they are not finding many places where they can spend their coins so only option they have is to sell it and convert it to local currency.

I think you're thinking of Expedia.com/.ca, and I remember them having some sort of promotion a while ago where they were accepting Bitcoin, but I think I saw a thread on here recently where someone said that they stopped that promotion, presumably because of lack of interest or something. I don't know if that's the site you're looking for, but it might be a place to start.

I've seen this ads too but i'm forget what the site name maybe this will make the people start using bitcoin to buying online ticket if this goes good in the future many people would know how easy and fast if they do transaction with bitcoin.

No in my country Bitcoin is not acceptable. I just used Bitcoin in gambling, and I exchange Bitcoin to local currency.
It is very tough to explain what is Bitcoin to others. Especially girls, they will ask a lot of questions for that we don't have answers.
No in my country Bitcoin is not legal, So shops and stores will not accept Bitcoin as payment.
Only my brother knows what is Bitcoin except that no one knows.

Paying  by bitcoin is not available here in my country with that im exchanging my bitcoin to fiat so that i can buy on physical store but hoping someday it would be available soon so that it wont be a hassle on exchanging. Its really hard to explain to another people especailly to those dont have knowledge on digital world they wont catch up in any way  even how hard you explain about btc. Only one  friend knows bitcoin i dont know how many out there are  also have knowledge on bitcoin.

2. I keep it simple because my motivation is to help them understand, not impress them.

I just used bitcoin to purchase things online and pay some bills and also transfer money among the community member, it can be a challenge to explain bitcoin to someone because bitcoin is not really famous and since its not tangible so people kind of ignore it, one of the reason bitcoin is not too famous in my country is because there are no store that accept bitcoin in my place

Not only for booking and airplane. there are another site can giving a features can buying a travel service with bitcoin but all of that's is starting from buying a plane ticket, a travel package and another things is in a one bitcoin service site but maybe I will searching that for yesterday because I'm forget about it.

Not only for booking and airplane. there are another site can giving a features can buying a travel service with bitcoin but all of that's is starting from buying a plane ticket, a travel package and another things is in a one bitcoin service site but maybe I will searching that for yesterday because I'm forget about it.

bitcoin is the best thing for travelers because if the day comes when you can use bitcoin everywhere in every shop around the world you can easily travel to anyplace and only carry your bitcoin wallet on your phone with yourself without even needing to convert your money to their local currency.

nope i think most users bitcoin is not a holder only. there are plenty of activities or tasks that you can do to foster a bitcoin or at least shopping. I might be more amenable if you say that most bitcoin users are workers who want to make profits in bitcoin rather than using bitcoin to pay something

   I never used bitcoin to pay something, that is something I read about here on forum, and I saw couple videos on youtube about it. I don't know for any store in my country that accept bitcoin as payment method.
   Its hard to explain what is bitcoin, at least my friend that showed me everything was problem to explain me. He is the only one who use bitcoin in our building, and maybe all block. He knows some people that use bitcoins, but they live in other parts of the town.
   For now I didn't try to explain bitcoin to anyone, a bit to my wife, but I don't count that. I`m not sure she listen me when I`m talking longer then 5 minutes.
