Bitcoin has made the online transactions easier and safer then normally what we used to do with credit cards.... I think now BITCOIN will someday take the place of local currency...  Smiley

In that matter you are right! Bitcoin will really take place all the currency in the country worldwide. Because of its unique benefits, security that it can give to anyone and very convenient and easy to use. And lastly our Identity is very safe to somebody.

Bitcoin will rule the online world, but it cannot replace any major fiat currency in future, bitcoin is not that strong yet and people who are used to fiat and credit card will continue with it.

i'd never use bitcoin as a payment, because i don't really what kind of transaction using bitcoin. and yeah, i just make some earning here and save it.
it's because in real life in my country, bitcoin is not legal and government has not give a responsibilty if we're lose our money.
my friends doesn't know what is bitcoin. but sometimes i tried to invite them to use it.

So how's the exchange there? I mean did you have any ways to convert your bitcoins into fiat?

Because I think you will not continue to earn bitcoin if you can't use it for your own purpose.

there is always many ways to convert bitcoin to fiat even if you can't find a decent place or any place at all to sell your coins for local currency. i say this because i have problem sometimes selling bitcoin in my country.

you can sell bitcoin to USD or EUR or any other fiat that you feel easier and then sell that to your local currency which is the easiest way. there are many payment processors online you can use for that.

We have the same sentiment.  I only use bitcoin to pay for goods online.  I.e.  domain, hostings, and other stuff that interest me and can be bought by bitcoin.  If i want to spend it in the neighborhood, i need to convert it to my currency and well, need to sacrifice a certain percentage of the amount due to the processing fee.  Then enjoy the money from it and buy it to the local stores.

Yup if we have to spend our bitcoins then we need to convert it to our local currency first, as there is no single shop that accepts bitcoin as a payment method, but its very easy to convert it to fiat.

I would never ever convert my Bitcoin to fiat trash just to buy at a shop. Buying Bitcoin just to convert it to fiat later is highly irrational behavior. If the shops only accepts fiat, I buy with the fiat at hand. Why waste precious Bitcoin? I only pay with Bitcoin, if the seller accepts native Bitcoin payments - that means without fiat conversion.

Fiat conversion is detrimental to Bitcoin adoption, because it anchors Bitcoin value at still born debt money and adds complexity and costs to the payment process. Fiat conversion ruins the easy and seamless way to freely pay with Bitcoin without surveillance or control by third parties. By fiat conversion, unnecessary fees are added and full ownership of one's funds is surrendered to payment providers (and ultimately central banks). Especially for remittances is would be a great leap forward, if people would use direct BTC payments.

Bitcoin has made money transfers already easier and its better in compare to banks and other payment systems and in future it will be best even for online shopping when majority of sites will start accepting it.

I have just started to earn bitcoins. I also tend to use the bitcoins earned for my daily expense. I exchange the bitcoins into fiat and send the amount to my account. Then when i am in requirement, i take the money and use for purchasing goods and use it to pay bills as well. I am planning to save the bitcoins i earn as the price of the bitcoins may go up end of this year or may grow up in next year.

in fact the bank is also easy as using a credit card or ATM card, but bitcoin easier, because we can control the full wallet. maybe if in the future at least bitcoin ATM has a lot in every country I think they would be interested in using bitcoin, and bitcoin ultimately used for the transaction because it is more convenient and practical.

I think they are afraid about bitcoin that can other currency place by bitcoin because it is anonymous and they don't want to deal with somebody that they didnt know  who is he or she. if bitcoin will be world wide and accept by many store locally it needs real identity in order to deal to other stores.

I don't think that will happen soon (a few years from now), just because that wouldn't be profitable for the banks worldwide so they'll try to prevent it as much as they can.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

Exchanging your bitcoin in fiat has no fees but when you withdraw it, it has a high fee! that is the struggle but it is okay as long as you withdraw your money though here in our country it takes time to exchange your bitcoin in our fiat it takes 2 days or more but it is okay then it is okay to withdraw it

I'm also not using as a real payment right now, partly I'm doing it to be honest but not often at all due to the fact in my country there are not a lot of possibilities to do it.
Maybe in the future I can pay my daily expenses with the bitcoin.

I use Bitcoins usually to pay some daily bills online, and i prefer using it than fiat when that's possible, as there is many marketplaces not supporting it till now unluckily

Yup if we have to spend our bitcoins then we need to convert it to our local currency first, as there is no single shop that accepts bitcoin as a payment method, but its very easy to convert it to fiat.

Converting money was never a hard thing though, but the fees are something that makes it a little hard sometimes that is why it would have been great if it was accepted everywhere so that we did not have to pay any fees for exchanging it.

I don't think that it takes 2 days to convert bitcoin to fiat, it takes hardly 5 minutes to get transferred to bank account and I am doing it from localbitcoins since long time.

I never use bitcoin as a payment method because this is where I no place that provides for payment with bitcoin. Still it is difficult to use bitcoin as a payment in my place.
Bitcoin explain to someone is not difficult, the most important thing we have to get people that we describe are interested in bitcoin. Enough tell me about bitcoin and benefit in it.

People who are tech savvy and are interested in innovative technology will never miss the opportunity to get into bitcoins and it takes less time to convince them as they know they will get best benefits in future.
