I was not sure where to post this. I need 24 BTC in total. I have enough to buy via PayPal I can afford 17 and I need to borrow 7. Is there anyone that would be interested in this deal?

You would most likely have to be willing to provide ID for the lender at the very least. Is this something you'd be willing to do?

Ahhh now I remember this guy.  He's tried to trade with me before and every time i ask him for verification he disappears.  Now I'm all for privacy and anonymity but when you pay with PP both user get real names (if that is indeed your account!).  So not wanting to  supply the requested info that I will receive anyway after the transaction is HIGHLY suspect.

Actually, I check the lending section frequently as I occassionally lend out money, and happened to see the other thread as well.

If you'd have been on the forums a bit longer you would see why everyone finds this suspicious, there have been many many people that have ran off with thousands of BTC they scammed from lenders on this forum (shakaru, hell even pirate), and guess how they did it? By taking out and paying back small loans/faking loans & then asking for bigger loans, using the smaller repaid loans as "rep" for the bigger ones.

I'm sure people would appreciate it if you posted the txid's and addresses for the loans & repayments on this thread, as proof that it isn't a fake loan & also so that LionHeart will get a scammer tag if he scams you and doesn't repay.

Here's a nice read as well:

I'll post it if he scams... In the meanwhile if this txn doesn't sit well with you ask theymos to release my private messages. Maybe they will help you out with your clown-ass suspicions.

Its your choice, I will warn you though that it has happened before where a scammer tag could not be handed out because it couldn't be proven that the lendee didn't repay the loan as a repayment address wasn't posted.

I honestly don't care if you post it or not, I'm just letting you know that nobody is going to let you use this loan as "rep" for another loan without proof that the loan actually happened at the very least, this isn't the proper procedure for a loan thread.

Okay, "btc loan genius", what do you do if you plan to have the borrower deposit the coins back into an exchange and you don't have the address yet?

Well, at least we know we won't have to worry about LionHeart ever posting anymore.

Okay, "btc loan genius"

I wouldn't consider myself a genius, but its good to know that others do, thanks very much for the compliment.

what do you do if you plan to have the borrower deposit the coins back into an exchange and you don't have the address yet?

What you do is you make that known in the thread at the very least, so well done for doing that.
