What's stopping people from using bitcoin?

What is people not using it is because it has a bad name at first place and also the fact that its that a lot of people do think its very difficult to work with it.
They are thinking also its getting only used by bad people..

People think getting bitcoins is waste of money and time. Bitcoin is not useful for financial transactions unless it is used as a currency in the form of BTC. Most people don't have any Bitcoin, and getting them is a time consuming hassle.

Not that. Majority of people are narrow minded and consider it to be a high risk rather than knowing the actual technology and success behind it.

Also most of them nowadays think of avoiding it as majority of illegal activities are being carried out with bitcoins and they fear of getting caught in the middle of something.

Yes that's what it is ,bitcoin for them is just a wasting of time and it has nothing in the market .just like in romania my friend said that they already knew bitcoin but for the romanian bitcoin is just a stuff.

I think everyone thinks that the BTC as digital currencies are dangerous, because they still do not have knowledge of the bitcoin and plus there has been no recommendation from the corporate, Government, and people are popular for using Bitcoin. 99% of people will want to use something if they are recommended by famous people, companies, and Government.

ignorance indeed plays a big role when it comes to people leaving bitcoin or not willing to use bitcoin. the thing is that it will only cost an average person around 30 minutes to understand the basic things of bitcoin. after that he/she can decide whether or not to dive deeper into the technical aspects of bitcoin. that's up to them. just doing some unbiased research will help to convince the average joe to adopt bitcoin, or at least to give it a fair chance. they will realize that bitcoin stands for freedom.

I wouldn't entirely agree that those people do not want to accept bitcoin is because of they could not accept the new technology. One reason for them is that they don't understand the complexity of bitcoin and how to use it.
If only they did a little research and invested about a week of learning what bitcoin is, then they'd understand it and probably be hyped to know that bitcoin's value is steadily going up.

30 minutes? I wonder what are those basic things that you were referring to. There's a lot of things you have to learn in bitcoin, I believe that trying to learn bitcoin in 30 minutes will only result to confusion after exploring the bitcoin world itself. Maybe those 30 minutes will only teach you things like "you can buy goods using BTC", "you can gamble using BTC", and stuffs like that. It's not enough knowledge for a bitcoiner. Those kind of things are only common sense IMHO since bitcoin is a currency, of course you can buy, gamble, and invest.

You have to tell them your bitcoin story so that they would be fully aware of the dangers out there like scammers, identity thieves, and ponzi scams. 30 minutes just isn't enough to lecture someone who's too afraid to try bitcoin.

They can play bitcoin automatically they have an internet connection. So, on the web have a various suggestion,  article, and information that's can explained to them about the scam. We will not take the main reason because everybody have a different reason to stay away from bitcoin. Finally, all of it's rely on the way of thinking.

why should gambling stop some one from using bitcoin. I think there is no concern of bitcoin with bicoin. it is not necessary that those people who are using bitcoin must be attached with gambling. I am earning from investing bitcoin and also fro a signature campaign. but I never do gambling. I use my earning for my family requirements.
