The big reason people stopping using bitcoin is the price of bitcoin. Why ? Because, if the price of bitcoin goes down to $1 or more, i'm sure people will not using bitcoin again.
AHHA moment this is certainly true and everyone will immediately turned his on bitcoin. But I think this can only occur if in the future there is a digital currency is much better and much more friendly than bitcoin. I think that the future of the bitcoin will be much better and grow taller again. Well that's the reality when bitcoin reaches that $1 for sure most of us will going to stop using bitcoin and I find it as the reality in life of people. But I don't think it will happen because the price of bitcoin is going to be real pumping each day by day. Well all we can do is hope that the price doesn't go that low. I am pretty sure not many people are thinking about the price going that low, they are probably thinking about how high the price is going to go. |

So after reading this article and especially the ending: One thing is for certain: having made Bitcoin less of a security worry, transparency will now be key in attracting users to new models, placing control of funds and fees in an upfront way in their own hands. I'm wondering what's stopping people from using bitcoin? And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it. The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy? there are allot of people who dont need to pay something online and if they do we all can use ideal or like paypal and i think people trust that many times more than the new bitcoin paymen.. |

people are stopping using bitcoins because there are allot of scammers around and the bitcoin is allot worth so i understand why they dont take the risk it would be such a shame if you lose just 1 coin because its worth 600 dollar.

Well is somehow relevant also that people are stopping using bitcoin, but also another reason is maybe the country or government doesn't allow their citizens to use bitcoin. I just don't know what country is that, maybe there are certain countries that are like that. |

if you do something and do in a legal and legit site you'll get paid for sure. if you are not getting paid by doing your work then you are probably on a scam site, first find a legit job for you. there are lots of ponzi scam sites, we need to be careful from them. |

You are talking about salary, right? You are not being paid in bitcoin because bitcoin is not yet accepted by any government as a currency to be used, that is the reason why you cannot get paid with bitcoin but your national currency. And there maybe not a lot of places outside for spending bitcoins but there are a lot of places online where you can buy things or spend your bitcoins, just google it and you won't believe your eyes. |

like an issue about bitcoin are terrorist fundsource in few months ago? yeah it affected to the price we can see it bitcoin price dropped drastically that time. but with the halving issue right now yeah boosted investor to buy more and more and it's trader time now to exploit it. |

I think the only thing is stopping them is their blind faith on fiat currency. The concept of bitcoin is itself a major confusing point for them.
They just can't accept that money can be mined through a computer program and that is more valuable than any other fiat currency available in the whole world.
Once I started teaching about bitcoin to some of my office colleagues and they started laughing. So I immediately stopped. Let restrict bitcoin circulation just within the believers.

in my opinion it's because the concept is too abstract for any laymen to easily understand
unless someone demonstrate how to use it and show them the value of it
it will always be a niche thing

The main problem seems to be awareness. People, the masses are not aware of the true potential of bitcoin. Some reason they don't see it. Which is why we, the people who know bitcoin should do a better job explaining it to them.

Well, other than that I think they still do not believe in the potential of bitcoin. I guess they are the ones who can not see an opportunity that is owned by bitcoin, and maybe they are people who do not know about this business They didnt know the potential? Of course that is not the reason and can never be one of the reason. If they really use that as a reason to stop bitcoin, meaning they search for it and the output is wrong. One of the reason why people don't use bitcoin because they are lack of knowledge of it. How it perform and what is this all about. Another reason is the geographical location like in third world countries where internet connection is really not present. |
