In my opinion, propaganda on the media and communication with the crime just stops people from using Bitcoins. And also perhaps a lack information + psychological factor, namely the habit of living in the old order and the usual reluctance to move forward into the future. This applies to the older generation.
Well media really has a factor in making something popular or make it humiliate just like making a bad news for for something media wants to destory the reputation of an individual or something. Just why media really has a big factor why people stops using bitcoin. |

Right, Media is one of important factor can make bitcoin have a good or bad name in our community, Maybe,some media have a reason why to make a fallen article or build article for bitcoin. the intervention of 3rd parties can make media to made a bad or good news. |

I just got back from a conference where one of the topics was blockchain and crypto usability. The conclusion is that crypto s still too complicated to be used by ordinary people since most of users are IT guys and geeks. This is correct. It would be 2 weeks to teach my parents to use crypto easily and safely.
So people, make things LESS complicated in order to increase acceptance.

Well the fact that IT people can just easily understand it but for an ordinary people of course it will be very difficult for them. So you are right, crypto currency is not easily to learn if people are not an IT, but even they aren't IT if they can easily cope up, then that's way better. |

I've actually noticed that too, once i was trying to tell someone if how he can start using bitcoin and joining this forum for getting information about it, and he actually had no much knowledge about IT and i found it quite hard to explain it to him, telling him about creating a wallet, using faucets etc, so basically it is still really hard to make ordinary people understand about the complicated use of bitcoin. |

Well me either, because IT people can just get into the trend of technology easily. But for those people who aren't IT. Well they are having hard time to adopt the trend of technologies. But they must still be educated about it, and even they aren't an IT if they want to use bitcoin , they will. But they are maybe reasoning it because they are just lazy I guess. I.T are smart they don't want to waste their time to earn in online so if they want to earn they working and start a new business online related in bitcoin.. I.T can make their own business online they can make their own website to earn bitcoin easily and passively without working it too much daily.. just updating their website.. honestly most of the I,T online not only bitcoin is their source of income Many source of money online they can get like affiliate marketing this is one of the advanced for I.T just like me that they can make $100 to $1k usd per week without spending too much time.. i am just here because of bitcoin i use bitcoin for future purposes. .and i am planning to start my own business with bitcoin about affiliate marketing.. like PPI or Pay Per install or CPA Cost Per Action paying bitcoin,. |

People will only stop using BTC if they lose to gambling kind of things, however they will only think that BTC are good as a currency and may just stop themselves from gambling eventually (still not from using bitcoins). |

Right now, many people see it as an internet currency, so gambling is one of the few ways people can earn BitCoin without actually "earning" it themselves. So they turn to gambling. Me personally, never even been on a gambling site. |

i think the idea that it might be used for doing illegal things might be stopping people though thats just my opinion
There are so many reasons why people stop from using bitcoin and this is being considered also. But it is not good to see also that bitcoin is being use for illegal things but also real money. When something is used for the better, there will always be those who will use it for worse. It's inevitable. Bitcoin is like money, and with money we can get literally everything because money isn't good nor bad. It's neutral and what influences is the holder. |

and for old generations it is much harder to redirect them to there, they do not want to try any digital system, so for currency I don't think they will like it, and so this stop them from bitcoin, |

Yeah the scams from the community definitely do not help. No way to get your money back so once a scammer gets it it's gone. That's why there are a lot of scammers in Bitcoin unfortunately. Good thing the community works very hard to warn people about things that don't seem right to try and prevent newer people into Bitcoin from getting scammed and saying "screw this". |

Yeah, most people in third world countries don't even have the basic access to internet or electricity, let alone bitcoin. They would worry more about their day to day lives than to think so far into the future. Bitcoin is currently viewed as an investment for most people. And they think it's risky. That's why they're not using bitcoin as a currency. |
