I think the main reason for stopping people for using bitcoin are the HYIPs sites that are getting scammed fast, because when they are newbie they think that HYIPs are forever passive income so they will buy bitcoin and invest it on a HYIP site but they didn't know that it's just a scam site that giving payment for the few investors but after they get their target amount of bitcoin they will turned to scam.

What stopping people from using bitcoin is the lack of idea of the existence of bitcoin just like my co-workers in our office. The second is the availability of btc, its hard to purchase since you have to travel far or it is absent in your place. And third it is susceptible to hacking, a question of security and confidence.
According to an expert that I have seen hacking have been impossible for different kind of hackers. Many have tried but seems to not get inside it. The lack of establishments where it can be purchased is growing steadily. 7/11 I think is now accepting to buy bitcoins through them. |

People stop using Bitcoin because maybe they think that it is not what they expected it to be. With Bitcoin you will have to be very patient if you want to make money if not then this is just not for you.

If you don't have patience then you should not invest your money into it, as to earn huge profits from it you need to hold it for a really long time. |

Lol I think it was out of bitcoin? You do not have to get out of bitcoin or stop using bitocin. you only need to not invest in hyip sites and the problem is resolved dude ? |

If you don't have patience then you should not invest your money into it, as to earn huge profits from it you need to hold it for a really long time. Maybe that's it people stops using bitcoin because they don't have patience, they don't have patience for waiting the price increase and they don't value it that they can really earn from it. Patience is really need in bitcoin and we all know there are people that doesn't have enough patience for something and it is one of the reason maybe. |

People are stop using Bitcoin because of the fact that it can be stable sometimes and people just do not like waiting a ling time before they make some money with it.
instabilities become the most important point. bitcoin is designed like that. bitcoin digital currency is difficult to predict. only those who dare to take a decision which will be used bitcoin. yeah I was confused as to why many people prefer the fluctuating prices compared to prices stable? it is seen as a stable price and volume on the exchange dropped dramatically? but when the price moved quickly back up the volume. ist PROVE but I do not think it will make people stop using bitcoin |

No, because u should check steam stats of bitcoin as payment method usage. Its not good, payment with bitcoin is pain in the ass sadly :/, we need better software, better UI and new mechanics that will make bitcoin payments easier. Personally i pay with bitcoin only if its only option lately because other methods are faster and safer (chargebacks etc) I think tho, that bitcoin is best in the world when it comes to store of value. Payment is secondary role. |

yeah you need to be patient if you choose to invest in bitcoin. if you can not wait to invest in bitcoin. maybe you get is a defeat so maybe that's one reason for them to stop using bitcoin When a person experienced falling down from investing, it is one of the thing that make him stops from investing in bitcoin. But he must be strong in able to face his falling down because most successful people experienced it. |

Volatility. Technology Bias. Adaptability.
All that will change soon. Bitcoin is growing and with that grow more people join, eventually that will lead to adaptability, and with that stability will come also. We can not hurry things, lets be real how much bitcoin is among us? Do you wish everything to happen over night? Well its not possible. Time need to pass, and in that period of time slow changes will happen. Its not small thing what bitcoin achieved in just 7 years, don't forget that. If bitcoin continue to grow with same speed we can expect big things to happen very soon. But again we need to show patience, and not to force things. I think the changes are not slow. its the fastest ever before. I think still time is to invest. because the bitcoin is still in progress to its high level. |

Then we can't do something to force them using bitcoin, but if they can see the convenience of it. Maybe they will change their minds for not using it and in the end they will regret their decision. |

More online merchants need to accept bitcoin as a payment method.
I do not like that i need to first purchase gift cards then purchase what i want, i choose to shop at shops that accept bitcoin directly over a competitor that doesn't.
I think alot of merchants don't believe bitcoin will be used a lot if they decided to accept it (pretty sure i read this about amazon somewhere) but on top of saving the merchants a lot of money in the form of fees, i reckon it would bring more business, overstock are happy with Bitcoins performance and i saw or reddit or coindsk, bitcoin beat the expectations of Expedia when they began accepting it.
I believe there are people out their with bitcoin and are holding, not just for potential value increase, but also because bitcoin isn't readily accepted at their preferred places to shop.

For a majority of people, the fiat system is fine for them and they don't need anything that Bitcoin offers. For sure, they will be convince as long as they can see a proof of monetary unit. They will become interested into it. |
