There are many answers to this question. My simple answer is that nothing is stopping people from using Bitcoin, but Bitcoin is not well know enough. That is the real problem.

well some countries just ban bitcoins so i think that would be the thing stopping people from using it in my opinion people will actually start using bitcoins really more pretty soon in order to benefit |

I asked my friend what does he know about bitcoin , he said that it is the medium of exchange of the terrorist and hackers , That idea made me think that , that is the reason why some people doesnt want to join bitcoin

I'm not sure that all the people who've been wearing bitcoin will stop. Because all users to indulge the bitcoin keep using bitcoin. Everyone also enjoy all of the awarded bitcoin, so this is very impossible to do

I prefer the dollar because it has almost universal acceptance, and it doesn't have its price crash once per year. Plus I can't find a wallet or hard drive that I can trust as much as my bank, which has been in business for 100+ years, is regulated and audited, provides government-funded depositor insurance, lets me do chargebacks, and provides reimbursement for any deposit lost due to hacking or bank card fraud or check fraud.

Bitcoin are not tied to any country so there's no reason they would stop using bitcoin if they already know about usefulness of bitcoin.
I will say value fluctuation is the main reason for stopping this. Currently its pretty good. Also i heard from thi forum that many people are losing their BTC by hackers. They have stop this and secure this. Not price fluctuations I will say the lower price is the time when people use less bitcoins. You can see the amount of transactions on blockchain shown are increased by a big number as the price has increased. |

Perhaps the reason for that may represent a whole is that bitcoin is not able to provide benefits. I'm sure if bitcoin could not develop and the slump will be a lot of people who stop using bitcoin. |

Most likely convenience and ease of use.
No, convenience and ease of its use do not stop people from its usage, but these features enhance the interest of people in using bitcoin, people do not hate and run away from the convenience but they like to adopt a way which will be easy and convenient for them. |

First is the availability of local store to spend Bitcoin. Country related regulations. And the need of internet to be able to connect to the bitcoin network. Further more, the volatility of Bitcoin value, today Bitcoin is at $700 range and tomorrow might be at $200 range. A bit complicated for non tech people.

Bitcoin not being able to provide benefits? What kind of benefits are we actually talking about here? Because as far as my concern, bitcoin has been providing us the benefit of transparent, hasty (not always true), secure transaction through the times. |

Well people do not trust the bitcoin because of the media, the media says the bitcoin is bad because it used by many criminals thats a really bad thing in my opinion, to be honest the people are stuffed with the ideas that bitcoin is a bad thing thus they dont like using it usually and i hope that this will not go on in the future i guess people themselves only stopping from using bitcoins also some governments ban bitcoins thus it might be the idea that does not allow them to get into bitcoins and use it |

There is something that stops people from using bitcoin. Why people doesn't use bitcoin if there is nothing stops them. Like they are lack of information about bitcoin, they are thinking bad about bitcoin. They don't believe that bitcoin is a digital currency. That are some of the reasons why people stops from using bitcoin. |

I also think they are scared to invest because it stays a investment and it can still collapse these days due to the instability. I hope this will change soon or later. |
