So many reasons that are a cause to stop using bitcoin, the major reason is that people are busy in other thing like some are the student of university and some are doing jobs in other companies so they don't have enough time to spend on bitcoin..
Yeah that will consider another reason on why people stopped using bitcoin but i think there is a big reason like getting scammed (because of the HYIPs that manipulated them to invest all their btc) and financial loss (like getting negative profit because of panic selling because the price of bitcoin in their time is continue dropping). Getting scammed might make people feel annoyed but I do not think it will make them stop using bitcoin because they can try another. But I do not know because each person is very different. Perhaps many people stop using bitcoin because bitcoin does not develop and can not make their own profits. |

Some people think is scam? I would say they must be wrong. Bitcoin is not a scam, I also thought the same when I first heard about it from my friend. The way he explained it made me think it's scam, but it's not. If it's a scam, many users would have discovered that since. But people's imagination is real stopper I too believe.   |

That's really an issue and reason why people are stopping from using bitcoin. Because there are some people that are tackling about the security of bitcoin wallet addresses. Thinking about that an hacker can easily penetrate to their accounts and get the balance they have. Correct. The only thing that it lacks of, is security itself. People nowadays try to get everything through shortcuts, they don't want to work for this. This is why hack attempts has risen to an extremely dangerous level. |

Lack of knowledge and lack of trust in bitcoin is stopping majority of people to use it, as they are not aware what is bitcoin and how it works so we cannot expect them to use bitcoins.

So after reading this article and especially the ending: One thing is for certain: having made Bitcoin less of a security worry, transparency will now be key in attracting users to new models, placing control of funds and fees in an upfront way in their own hands. I'm wondering what's stopping people from using bitcoin? And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it. The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy? Would you change your local currency to a better local currency for a 1% fee if you want to buy something? The other currency is better, but you have to wait a few days, pay an exchange fee and care about the security yourself. The issue IMHO is that there are not enought ways to earn bitcoin for the majority of people you have in mind. Using bitcoins can make allot of difference for the price value. If more people are using the bitcoin the price will rise allot off coure not if they are only holding their coins. |

This is a right point man. hacking attempts are just increasing badly. and bitcoin holders are being hunted. that is one of the big reason why people stopping bitcoin. but there are lots of ways to stay safe. like using mixer services and store your bitcoin to cold or paper wallets can safe you from hackers. |

This is surely one of the reason why people are not using or stopping the use of bitcoin. But of course in the end if they are going to see the convenience and benefits of bitcoin . And they have going to have enough knowledge. |

Making your account secure and bitcoin security is different. Bitcoin itself is secure because of it's anonymity. The only thing that has risk is your account security, it's your choice if you want to make your account secure. Bitcoin has nothing to do with it. |

Some people dont want to use bitcoins and i know why because gold is everything for them they inly think why use bitcoins when he has a unstable value and paper will always have the same value.
So make sure you have always gold instead of bitcoins.

The steep fluctuations is the major factor that keeps most users away from bitcoin usage. Also users don't have good knowledge and learning about bitcoin. When they know clearly, users will understand that those fluctuations were not a matter.

Changes will never happen in a single day. Its take worth time. people are accepting bitcoin more then yesterday. Number of people who are using bitcoin going up everyday. may be it will never happen that all people accept bitcoin but there is no doubt that most people will accept it.

Yes that's for sure that all people will not really to get into bitcoin. But in the end those people will be forced to use bitcoin. If the government will implement the cashless society and the currency which will be use is bitcoin. |

For daily payments, well everybody owns 2 handhelds, so can reserve one for serious stuff like playing angry birds, using the other for Bitcoins. |
