What's stopping people from using bitcoin?

Changes will never happen in a single day. Its take worth time. people are accepting bitcoin more then yesterday. Number of people who are using bitcoin going up everyday. may be it will never happen that all people accept bitcoin but there is no doubt that most people will accept it.

Yes that's for sure that all people will not really to get into bitcoin. But in the end those people will be forced to use bitcoin.
If the government will implement the cashless society and the currency which will be use is bitcoin.

i'm sure government would rather make their own digital currency which is centralized so they can control it than using bitcoin which is uncontrolled if they're forcing their people to implement cashless society

Yes that's for sure, as long as they can take the power and control into it, they are going to implement it.
And the people will be really forced to used that their own digital currency that can be also converted into dollars.
But I'm thinking that they will going to use bitcoin.

And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it.

The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy?

Would you change your local currency to a better local currency for a 1% fee if you want to buy something? The other currency is better, but you have to wait a few days, pay an exchange fee and care about the security yourself.

The issue IMHO is that there are not enought ways to earn bitcoin for the majority of people you have in mind.

Using bitcoins can make allot of difference for the price value. If more people are using the bitcoin the price will rise allot off coure not if they
are only holding their coins.

yeah, it is true and for that reason , i am trying my best to invite my friends to adopt bitcoin and I always suggest them to buy bitcoins with their extra money , i know that will make the price of bitcoin go rise.

I agree changes is continuous process.  For people to accept bitcoin, Bitcoin commuinity must break that wall of doubt in non-Bitcoin user people.  And that aint easy. Like what I experience when I tried to introduce Bitcoin to my Boss,  He said it's a scam LOL, because for him only tangible stuff is real. Sad I don't have Bitcoin Coin at least i can make him touch it LOL.  Lack of knowledge and different point of view are few of the factor that is stopping people from using Bitcoin.

I dont think age matters. It is the mind. If they open it and willing to be taught about it then there would be no problem at all. As long as the person knew some basic computer it will be done.

i know the only reason that really stoping people from buying bitcoin and i think that is the lack of shops that accept bitcoin from the customer.other wise i dont think that there is any other reason that people will stop using bticoin.

The fact that people are afraid they'll lose a lot of money once they invest it due to market movements is definitely a concern for them to have, and I am honestly concerned about the value I have in Bitcoin being lost as well. It is relatively unlikely to go down too far from here, but that doesn't mean everything is hunky-dory either.

I think one of the major drawbacks is for the newbies, and even for the experienced, it's very easy to make a mistake and end up paying a lot of money, or not enough money, but mistakingly adding or subtracting a zero or moving a comma, and BTC has no way to get refunds so..

Hard wallets are not really secured everything in this world in not secured. Especially when monetary fund is involve. Because snatchers, hackers and people
who are interested in getting their living from robbery is always around the place.
Looking around for the transactions possible. That's why people stops from using bitcoin.

I think stopping people from using bitcoin cause of bitcoin worthless when compared to the other currencies in the usage wise as well as all countries have condemned the bitcoin users, but it does not apply now because I read in the news that bitcoin is the currency exchange rate continues to rise due to halving.

LOL I don't know where you have found MLM Btc companies! I am pretty sure one of the biggest problem is that is actually hard to buy bitcoins, for example with visa/mastercard, there are not many trusted websites that you can go and just buy bitcoins without first validating your account with id and bla bla. Localbitcoins is also a poor choice, again the same problems and insane prices compared to the market.

It could be, because it is still undergoing a bitcoin constraints in terms of trade, there is still very little marketplace that accepts payments via Bitcoin. It is indeed a major obstacle, but besides that we can still take advantage with the fluctuating price bitcoin

Well acceptance of merchants is really one of the reason why people stops from using bitcoin.
Why people are going to use bitcoin there are only few merchants that accepts it.
And the merchants that are accepting it are far from them.
