What's stopping people from using bitcoin?

I am not sure what is stopping people fro using Bitcoin but I can think of a couple of reasons, I think that one of the reasons is that people are afraid of getting hacked and I cannot blame those people.
Maybe some people are also not patient enough to wait to make money.

that might be right in my opinion, the only solution for that is not to use any of the wallets that are online and switch to cold storages such as paper wallets i think

i think people themselves only can stop them from using bitcoins because they are afraid of getting sued by governments if bitcoins become an illegal thing in their country

Yes if you want to make money from bitcoins then you need to have patience and even people are afraid of price volatility and they feel that they might loose their money by investing in it.

Yes if you want to make money from bitcoins then you need to have patience and even people are afraid of price volatility and they feel that they might loose their money by investing in it.

though i dont think that you need to be afraid of the price volatility because in my opinion it isnt that bad, to be honest it is really interesting for me when it happens

nothing stops people from using their bitcoins, they might not want to do that sometimes and thats it, i think that it is a really bad thing to be honest though it is how it is

If people know they could earn decent money from bitcoin, that would encourage them to use bitcoin.

Well medias are always been bias maybe the banks did pay for them to do such reports to make a black propaganda for bitcoin.
Or there is someone that really hates bitcoin.
So he seek help for the medias and destroy bitcoins reputation so that they can manipulate people.

i think you might be right, a lot of people are just afraid that they will get hacked and they just decide not to use their bitcoins in order not to lose a lot of money in shor period of time

i think you might be right, a lot of people are just afraid that they will get hacked and they just decide not to use their bitcoins in order not to lose a lot of money in shor period of time

I think the fact that people are afraid they'll lose a lot of money once they invest it due to market movements is definitely a concern for them to have, and I am honestly concerned about the value I have in Bitcoin being lost as well. It is relatively unlikely to go down too far from here, but that doesn't mean everything is hunky-dory either.

Common people is always told the volatility price is becoming an important factor, but they never think sometimes someone is getting bored with bitcoin and want to search a new thing for refreshing their minds. in my country, a lot of people does not have an internet connection and where they can get information about bitcoin if they don't basic requirement to accept bitcoin. but in some region, the community is refused about the technology and still adhere to the tradition.

That's really a big problem for them to know about bitcoin so their situation is the hindrance why the didn't even know about bitcoin.

The currency not with a bank is a benefit, i doubt that's a reason to not use it, i would rather say the negative impact of scammers is what is stopping people to use bitcoin.

So that's one of the reason why people who already knew bitcoin are just quitting it is because they are got victimized by those kind of ponzi's scamming site.
And it happened to me also, but I didn't allow it to make me like that.

Exactly right it's just lack of awareness and exposure which is stopping people from using Bitcoin. Hence BTC can come up with some sort of exhibition or some conference to create awareness because Bitcoin is something which most of people are looking for.
