What's stopping people from using bitcoin?

I would say it just because of the government and their rules they made for using it. The fear the to going over the rules stops people using the btc. I dont thing any other reason would stop people to use.

I don't believe. BTC is traceless so if ever people like to use it, they can use it. No problems too when converting to fiat since they can find a way to deal with that transaction.

There are country that bitcoin is banned but if you will take a close look, there are still some using it since they really love using bitcoin.

But seeing the market cap back at 10 Billion my faith is strong, much stronger then when I "started" with bitcoin

When you started the community were small i believe soo many people wanna bitcoin to be big and those same people didnt supported bitcoin, soo bitcoin crashed a lot and scared several potencial believers and investors has atracted some other group interested on the volatility.
I dont care if bitcoin loose or gets value from one day to other as long as dont loose the base of 600dollars im happy.

Yeah and I think we should tell the same people around us who are hesitating in investing their money in bitcoin as they feel that bitcoin will die very soon.

That can be one reason and other reason could be that they have fear of loosing their money in it, as many people feel that bitcoin is an scam and will not survive in long term.

yeah, a lot of people fear to lose their money, i think that in the future this fear will be gone because we need to attract more people to bitcoins in my opinion

FOR ME I think whay people stops the most is that there is no perceived value into switching to bitcoin dven though more and more e-commerce sites are accepting it, the reason people having doubt about bitcoin is its instability, right now bitcoin is able to compete side by side with fiat for some people don't like new things like bitcoin is a new type thing to buy and sell

I think people stop using bitcoin, if bitcoin turn out to be a scam, people will not stop using bitcoin if only the price issue or a security issue, because we know bitcoin the belle of the moment. Even countries that prohibit bitcoin only people still using. And the one of his ways to make people stop using bitcoin is if bitcoin scam.

Fluctuations in fact I think it is frowned upon by some people because it can benefit by exploiting price fluctuations. We can benefit from it. There are several possible reasons that make people stop using bitcoin. As they are already busy affairs in reality, or perhaps a government that prohibits using bitcoin, and there are still some other reason.

True, everyone will surely more to follow rules made by the Government of every country he inhabit. because they live in a country that has rules, but I think it's just some people who do it and there are some who keep breaking the rules. Because they think that the rules are being made does not correspond to reality

Yes bitcoin needs a promotion on higher level so that it can reached to each and every corner of the world, and if it is done successfully then I think many more users will start using bitcoin.

Most people don't use bitcoin because they either are not aware of it or don't know how to use it.

It's possible that they don't have any knowledge about or just afraid to use it.

For some people it's hard to adapt to something else when they're used to something they've used all their lives.

Because about btc all friends and family and most of them have never heard about it, or other have erroneous concepts about what bitcoin actually is, but most ordinary people always will have problems to understand this technology and how to use it, especially older generations.

I think people just dont see it as an actual currency. Also it goes up and down in price all the time. But the biggest problem for me is the
confirmation time. Some shop will honor the payment when they see the transaction on the blockchain (within seconds) but for larger purchases retailer needs 3+ confirmation which sometimes ends up being an hour.

Or maybe they got scammed and make them broke that make them realize that they will stop using bitcoins. Or they have some personal issues that needed bitcoin to be stopped. Each people who stopped has their own reasons

This is no wrong in having their own personal reason from their own experience which might be stopping them using bitcoin.
But the 'real' wrong is not analysing the truth and ignoring to finding out the truth about their own belief/opinion.

In that case no people will find and have their own personal (mostly meaningless) reasons for stopping them from using bitcoin.

You are right this is really the main reason why people doesn't even want to use bitcoin at all.
How they are going to use it if they don't know something about it.

Come on and wake up and start doing all by yourself. If you will succeed to learn those basic knowledge then Im sure you won't stop now to use this currency.
