I'd more guess we're in the media phase with the Winklevosses doing the rounds in the finance news world. Bitcoin is not about drugs anymore.

I think you're about right OP, if the halving creates a bubble.
First sell off: Jan-March time.
Peak: July-Sept
Return: August-Oct

Nope, we are back in the stealth phase, this is a circle that will go on and on for ever. Market cycles.

If you have guts now is the time to buy.  I think it will re trace but time will tell.

There is no take-offs any more. Precisely because that's what everyone's expecting. Btc will continue this painful sideways movement with a little valleys and little peaks for a long time to come.

I don't really like to speculate but I have been thinking the exact same thing lately. More specifically; how do I raise significant capital to throw into the market for January March sell off. Was my exact predictions no lie

So are you trying to say that this is already a reaction to halving? I thought about the same thing, but it seems that it's just a bit early for this to start? I mean we have about 9 months til the halving!

Anybody agrees or disagrees?

There's always going to be people thinking, is this the prehalving pump? So they buy, price increases, more people think they same; snowball. Market gets overbought/traders want to take large profits, everyone jumped the gun. (or it could very well just keep on trucking upwards)
some people sell at the bottom of the first sell off, thinking its another "dead cat bounce/back to 150, fud bs this forum has", and miss the next REAL pump.
On starts the REAL prehalving pump, and kaboom, everyone wishes they would have bought starting now.

Maybe no pump happens at all, and I'm wrong. BUT I'd rather keep buying now, and be wrong later, with a small loss, than losing out on potential profits (large) later.
I'm no expert trader, never will claim to be, but I predict:

Jan-March: 500-700
July-Sept: 1200-7000+ (seriously, who the hell knows)
August-Oct: 700-3000 (depends on the bubble)

I dont know if BTC disapoints like that, people expect it sure but i remember when we had had the gox bubble to $266 then shortly after people expected another bubble and it happened with the china bubble.

That's realistic. People expect everything from Bitcoin. Bitcoin always does the opposite of what people think. Cheesy Let's hope for a slow rise throughout the years. That's much better.
