Hey so I have been looking around lately for e commerce locations to buy items with bitcoin.  I found this website thecryptostore.com that seems to be under construction.  I also heard about purse.io a app that connects bitcoin owners and people willing to buy you something with their card on amazon.  Has anyone used this purse.io?  Is it trust worthy?  Is it fast?

Does anyone know of anywhere else besides overstock.com?  I hate buying stuff from those big sites.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

There was one guy a while ago that got his house raided after a purchase from Purse.io was linked to a stolen credit card.  They paid for all his legal fees, but it's something to keep in mind.

There are probably plenty of legitimate users on there, but there's also bound to be people trying to use it to cash out illegitimate funds.  Just like buying gift cards here on the forum, you don't know where they came from unless the cops show up at your door.
