So it's getting colder at least in the northern hemisphere. If you're, for example in a US southern state like I am you know that the cost of air conditioning is a factor with mining during the summer. When it gets colder of course you can just open a window instead to let all of that heat outside. Do you think this has any significant effect on the market, or is the distribution of miners diverse enough that this would not matter much? How many miners are in the southern hemisphere (I predict not many).

The colder wx has resulted in 1% increase in my hash rate.

Why did I sell at $5! Come back to me my old bitcoin! 1GjeBGS4KrxKAeEVt8d1fTnuKgpKpMmL6S

I plan on using a window fan to blow some of the heat into the rest of the house, reducing the need to run the furnace.

My room is staying at ~80 degrees while the rest of the house is about 50. If ASICs weren't hitting soon I would re-position everything so I could fully heat my house with GPUs Smiley

My florida living room is at about 65F and the rest of the house is in the 40s.

Yay for residual heat (For a change!)

It's not helping me too much in Texas yet. Currently around 50 outside but I still have the AC on to keep the mining room at 77 degrees. AC is definitely kicking on less often.

I went from using central heating and air for cooling this summer to my gpus instead of heating for the winter and my bill is so far down 200  and falling from 450, even comps running 24/7.

It's mid November and I have not had to turn on the heat once yet. Just open a window for some circulation, turn on the fan, and let the rigs do the rest. Tongue
