Unless they're selling make up or high heels for bitcoins the market ,don't think anything else will motivate females to use them.Probably you can sell sex toys accepting bitcoins you'll have a legit female traffic trading bitcoins .

it is not about being male or female, introducing bitcoin to others and make them interested in bitcoin that they actually start using it is hard.

i say this from experience. i tried convincing my friends (male friends) and it is hard, because not everybody sees benefits of bitcoin and also the lack of places to actually use bitcoin as a currency doesn't help the cause either.

Well, op. My guess is that you're doing it wrong.

If you want someone to be involved with bitcoin in the long term you'd have to find a way to make it appear useful to them. I introduced a female friend of mine that is an artist to bitcoin and she's now accepting it as a means of payment for sketches, not much traffic but she's now an actual user. Rest of my female friends know I'm involved with bitcoin, know what it is but don't get the same joy I do when posting in bitcoin forums. People have different interests, for some girls it's more appealing to post selfies on facebook rather than posting on forums with strangers. With that said though, it's not like no women visit this forum. It's just that gender has nothing to do with bitcoin, especially when posting online so it's not discussed often.

I found it's very hard to inspire females to use bitcoin.  I tried to invite 20 female friends who are aging from 19 to 45 to use bitcoin by giving them free bitcoin 0.25BTC each.  Only 10 of them accepted.  These ten ladies accept to use bitcoin, but they never talk about bitcoin, they never heard of bitcointalk.org.  What they like to talk are just hairdressing, shopping, keeping fit ...

No females that I know on BitcoinTalk, but I do know one IRL that runs a few miners to support the network, and has invested in Bitcoin.

It's cool to hear this, sounds interesting. So as we can understand, females like men when they understood nicely what's Bitcoin, how it works and so on they even can support it and invest in mining as this example noticed

That's a good question actually! To be honest, it's very hard, even for me, to find or to make other girls interested in Bitcoin. Giving out these cute t-shirts was probably the closest I got to getting girl's interest.

Another thing that might work is to explain the reason why the current financial system is so evil and problematic and why bitcoin is a solution to that. Nothing's more exciting than a REVOLUTION to make the world a better place If it's hard to explain or she's too impatient to listen, watch some documantaries like 'all wars are Bankers wars' or the 2nd part of Zeitgeist of 'The Lie we Live'.

There are of course many problems in the world, but to make the biggest impact and positive change we need to address the source. Zoom out and you will see almost any issue can be linked back to the financial system. It’s not hard to understand. Some have the power to create money, others give up their time and energy to work for it. The ones who supply the money, control and rule this planet. As long as you accept their paper currency, you keep giving them this power. Wherever money goes, energy flows. Stop accepting their money and they'll soon lose their power. Use and store your value in a currency that cannot be controlled or manipulated, because it's transparent, decentralized and limited in supply. BITCOIN!

Well, I'm a girl and I am on Bitcointalk. :-) Used to read this forum a lot before registering, learned a lot.
At the moment I have 1.12btc on Xapo and about 0.8btc on eToro with leverage.

One thing I have learned about introducing the Bitcoin topic to women is this :

1. Do not introduce it, when more women is around. <They do not think geek talk is cool, when they are with other women.
2. Do not introduce it, when men are around. <That distract from the primary goal>
3. Individual one-on-one discussions is ok, if she is interested and it should not dominate the discussion.

Social interaction in groups are always a difficult setting to talk about serious topics.
